positive · AI labelView post →Movie Frame Study i've done for Theo in 2023, ref frame is from Hail, Caesar!, thank you for checking it out ^^

neutral · AI labelView post →Lots of people mentioning other Coen Brothers movies, and I love them all (haven’t seen Hail Caesar or Buster Scruggs), but the one I’ll go to the mat for maybe the hardest is Inside Llewyn Davis. An astonishing movie IMO.
neutral · AI labelView post →The best and meanest thing anyone can say about me is that I own the blazer Ralph Finnes wears in Hail,Caesar, like not as a film prop I bought years before by myself
neutral · AI labelView post →After my second watching, I am becoming more and more convinced that Hail, Caesar! (2016) is the movie equivalent of The Miseducation of Lauren Hill in that, much like that album, it’s something you can put on at any time during a gathering of almost any crowd of people and it will work. 📽️
positive · AI labelView post →Hail, Caesar is such a perfect little truffle of a movie
positive · AI labelView post →What would have been actually awesome would have been if a bunch of Queensland Year 12 students had spent a year learning about the Cohen Brothers film “Hail Caesar!”.
neutral · AI labelView post →I used WholesaleTheft AI and spent $20,000 in tokens to make a full length feature film of “Merrily We Dance”, starring Hobie Doyle and directed by Laurence Laurentz, the fake film inside “Hail, Caesar!” (2016). Hollywood is cooked.
neutral · AI labelView post →Carter Burwell (with scenes from "Barton Fink", "Gods and Monsters", "Adaptation" and "Hail, Caesar!" for which he composed the film scores) - BOTD
neutral · AI labelView post →Mrs R has put on the Max Von Sydow Easter film for the bairn, who hasn’t seen it. It is mainly reminding me that Hail Caesar! is an absolute belter of a movie, and one of the guys’ best.
positive · AI labelView post →There are shades of this in the movie that are played as obvious satire, ala "Hail Caesar," but that obviously went way over younger me's head.
neutral · AI labelView post →I circle Blue Devil a lot, and I keep landing on "light hearted occult detective in Hollywood". "BD, y'gotta help me, a warlock cursed my new horror movie!" That sort of thing. A big, blue Elliot Gould. Hail Caesar! with horns.
neutral · AI labelView post →BTW, the "rumor" of him being a nazi spy, later inspiring the Communist spy in the movie Hail Caesar? Just a Hollywood urban legend courtesy of a 1980 Charles Higham book, Errol Flynn: The Untold Story. He had no direct proof and instead compiled together what he thought proved that he was.
neutral · AI labelView post →#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched The Sugarland Express, Hail Caesar, The Client, The Burnt Orange Heresy. The best film I saw this week though was 2006's The Lives of Others. Magnificent.
neutral · AI labelView post →Watching Hail, Caesar and I’m so fucking pissed that gay sailor Channing Tatum tap dance movie doesn’t exist
positive · AI labelView post →Now rewatching the last theatrical movie of the Coen brothers, Hail, Caesar! (2016). A wonderful love letter to classic Hollywood. Filled with a tremendous cast that are all on top of their game, especially, Brolin, who is perfect here. What an amazing run of movies by the boys. 4.5/5
positive · AI labelView post →Another busy week and only one new movie: a rewatch of Hail, Caesar: movie still rocks! #filmsky #letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched
positive · AI labelView post →The Coen brothers movie "Hail, Caesar" features both the Highlander and the Highlander's main villain in small roles. This is just one example of the kind of thing I might pause to point out were you to watch a movie with me.

neutral · AI labelView post →Okay so we rewatched Hail, Caesar! Bc of our movie podcast and I almost cried bc it’s about choosing to do a hard job that you love and my job has been really really hard lately. But now! I’m going to write about Ilya Rozanov having feelings with Yuna Hollander. 💪✍️
positive · AI labelView post →My favorite part of Hail, Caesar that wasn't George Clooney. My god, packing a sweet genuine date in the middle of all the artifice of this movie was such an inspired bit of business
positive · AI labelView post →It's weird when Christopher Lambert shows up in HAIL, CAESAR! and you end up going, dang, Christopher Lambert is really good in this movie.
positive · AI labelView post →Hail, Caesar! is my favorite movie because it’s a powerful story about a very organized person trying to manage disasters in an industry that makes too much money for how silly it is
positive · AI labelView post →My family has opted for the new J Lo/Brett Goldstein movie on Netflix over Hail, Caesar! and please send help.
neutral · AI labelView post →Tonight's film is... Hail, Caesar! It's one of those times when I need Channing Tatum in a sailor suit...
positive · AI labelView post →Had the pleasure of having a long conversation with Alden Ehrenreich for a brand new profile at Collider. We chatted about the horror smash Weapons (my favorite movie of 2025 so far), Solo, Hail Caesar!, Cocaine Bear, his L.A. playhouse, & all kinds of other fun things. collider.com/alden-ehrenr...
neutral · AI labelView post →I also highly recommend the Coen brothers’ Hail, Caesar!, a love letter to Hollywood’s Golden Age. While rewatching it the other night I thought, why can’t we have colors like this in more movies?
positive · AI labelView post →Upon my recent rewatch, HAIL, CAESAR! went from “underrated” to “maybe one of the 10 best movies of the century so far?” Just pure joy in film form, it should’ve been nominated for every Oscar and won many.
positive · AI labelView post →did I ever mention that I adore the film HAIL, CAESAR! (2016) if no I'd like to file that note
positive · AI labelView post →#heavyjan day 20-23. Color study using film Hail Caesar. #heavypaint #colorstudy
unlabelledView post →Tarantino can't do a musical; the Coens have done one outright (O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU), one short one as the opening of BALLAD OF BUSTER SCRUGGS, and one movie-within-a-movie segment as part of HAIL CAESAR! that's so good as a single scene that I want it to be a whole movie.
unlabelledView post →It's Movie Monday on the blog. There are many people - some of them claiming to be Coen brothers fans - who dislike 2016's HAIL, CAESAR!, to date the last big-screen feature they've made as a duo. I am not one of those people.
unlabelledView post →Wow Hail, Caesar! was outstanding. Perhaps the only worthy movie that is a love letter to movies. Whereas most such odes to movies are treacly and superficial, this sees all the flaws with clear eyes and loves the movies anyways. And that’s not the only layer on which it tells a story, either!
unlabelledView post →Tonight's movie is Hail, Caesar! (2016) 🍿
unlabelledView post →Hail Caesar is a perfectly average Hollywood nostalgia romp, but in the middle is the funniest scene in film history. I scream cried watching this in a thankfully empty theater youtu.be/G629a_3MkkI?...
unlabelledView post →@raaleh.bsky.social how did you guys manage to talk for twenty minutes about AI guys consulting religious leaders for professional ethics guidance, and nobody remembered Hail, Caesar share.google/thYFe0kUgPB3... is this an old guy movie, or what
unlabelledView post →I think that works! I mean to exclude things like 8 1/2, or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, or Hail Caesar! where the plot is pretty much about the mechanics of movie production or is otherwise set in Hollywood and the characters are directors/actors/producers etc
unlabelledView post →#HeavyPaint crashed, corrupted and undid today - and was against me as I tried doing two paintings today. But I am happy to complete week 4 of #heavyjan - color study on film Hail Caesar (which I haven't seen yet). Myunderstanding of color is growing through these studies!
unlabelledView post →Double movie birthday bash year 3! The Alamo is such a fun theatre setting and the movies chosen by @relaxingdragon.bsky.social are always great. First movie just finished: Hail, Caesar! A ridiculous Cohen Brothers romp :) 🎂📽️
unlabelledView post →It's time for a Movie I Haven't Seen Yet But I Think That I'll Love! I don't think I've done this over here yet. Tonight's film is Hail Caesar!
unlabelledView post →the level of talent the Coens get to just do a couple lines in this movie (Hail, Caesar!) is wild
unlabelledView post →Tonight I will watch Hail, Caesar! I loved this movie for a while but just haven’t seen it in ages
unlabelledView post →Rewatched HAIL, CAESAR! tonight, and I stand by my review. It's just fun.
unlabelledView post →Just watched Hail, Caesar! (2016) for the first time and have two observations: - This movie is an absolute joy. - Alden Ehrenreich would have been a perfect Han Solo if Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) hadn’t been a joyless slog… and if Han Solo did a few lasso tricks or sang a couple songs. 📽️
unlabelledView post →“Oh that it twere so simple” I have a theory that Hail Caesar may be the most perfect film ever.
unlabelledView post →Watched Hail, Caesar! last night, and these two bits of narration stuck out for me this time, and are dedicated to all the lovely people I've met on here who devote themselves to making the shows and movies and books and games I love.
unlabelledView post →My drawing of Fred Williamson inspired by Larry Cohen’s 1973 film BLACK CAESAR. I created this with a Micron pen back in 2017. Hail Caesar, Godfather of Harlem! #filmsky

unlabelledView post →George Clooney, in a film called Hail, Caesar!, wearing a Caesar costume: I mean, that's a rumour, just a... it's a theory creating its own anti-theory. Me:
unlabelledView post →Drive-Away Dolls is a madcap lesbian road comedy loaded with the quirked-up Coen dialogue I've desperately missed since Hail, Caesar and a Texas-fried Margaret Qualley star turn. Also, the horniest Coen-adjacent film by a wide margin.
unlabelledView post →Adam Driver pounding on that wall, even though I never saw the movie. Get Out, sitting in that chair, freaking out. Lots of stuff, Inside Llelewyn Davis, the astronaut song. Almost all of Hail Caesar. So, so many movies.
unlabelledView post →Hail, Caesar! (2016) this will be the twelfth Coen Brothers film i will have seen
unlabelledView post →I revisted the Coen bros' HAIL! CAESAR, a movie I've really grown to love. www.patreon.com/posts/in-fle...
unlabelledView post →67. Hail, Caesar! I kinda love this movie? This is a really well-balanced movie with a ton of really funny bits. I miss when comedies had cinematography.
unlabelledView post →Pretty sure I remember reading that this storyboard is what was used for the 'Roman Epic' movie scenes in the Coen Brothers' "Hail, Caesar!"
unlabelledView post →Conclave is just Hail Caesar for ppl who wanted another Hail Caesar movie.
unlabelledView post →Diving right into vacation with a backyard viewing of Hail, Caesar! in @introvert.net’s backyard. The love that suffuses that movie is Dickensian.
unlabelledView post →Well I enjoy the actual movie I do kind of wish we had the movie the trailer for Hail Caesar promised
unlabelledView post →This movie-within-a-movie scene (from HAIL, CAESAR!) is so good that it deserves to be an actual movie in its own right, and/or is solid evidence that Coens should do an actual musical.
