trying to rewatch ghost in the shell 2017, and this movie really sucks

Shirow's footnotes are always fun. Playful and witty. He clearly really enjoyed doing them. The Ghost in the Shell mangas are superlative.
I strongly recommend the original manga and Man Machine Interface. Try to get the version that has the author's notes in the back. You can learn alot about the world and his thinking process. No I'm not using this as an excuse to throw up a bunch of Shirow's stunning artwork😅
