I initially had a hard time getting into Songs of Death's game mechanic, mostly because the rhythm aspect was weak and came out more like button mashing. Once I read the fine print and understood the roguelite part, I had much more fun with the progression. Awakening the characters and astrolabe was satisfying (even though I struggled with one of the stages). Overall, this was a fun little experience.…
