That being said, this particular entry appeared to show some promise at a glance, so I figured I'd drop the couple of bucks and see what happens: since you've already seen the recommendation icon you have a general idea of how it went, but I'd suggest you keep reading for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Published on Steam way back in 2016 FullBlast is a very accessible bullet hell "lite" vertical shooter. Set the game on Hard difficulty and you'll find a more interesting experience than playing on lower difficulties. Normal difficulty is just too mundane and is more geared toward casuals. Visually FullBlast is visually arresting incorporating colorful artifacts and detailed though repetitive backgrounds. On Easy and Normal difficulties FullBlast is easily the most forgivable shooter that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Introduction FullBlast is the first game that is made and published by Indie Dev UFO Crash Games with an Action/Shoot 'Em Up theme that is inspired by the same classic gameplay from older platforms. Gameplay As far as the gameplay goes for FullBlast, it follows the standard pattern of a Shoot 'Em Up game with some unique additions and adjustments. The arsenals that you have at the start of the game are your trusty, auto-fire blasters which can be upgraded as you collect power-ups and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The premise of FullBlast is pretty standard, aliens are invading earth and its up to you to pilot a ship destroy everything and save the day. The gameplay in FullBlast is also fairly standard, split over 12 levels this vertical scrolling shooter sees you fight waves of enemies before finally reaching the Boss at the end of each level. Firstly 2 very important things to note. This game is definitely not a bullet hell shooter even on the hardest difficulty setting and on easy most shooter…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FullBlast: ~~~~~~~ The Aliens have invaded earth and the faith of humanity is literally at your fingertips. Jump full blast into you vessel and destroy the invaders! FullBlast is a Shoot’Em-Up/Arcade game inspired by titles of this genre made in the 80’s and 90’s. You can play FullBlast either Solo or co-op if you have someone to play with on your pc. FullBlast is composed of 12 stages to beat in 3 different areas with 3 difficulty levels. You will fight in the city, forest and in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FullBlast is a simple little shooter, very reminiscent of the classic arcade shmups of the late 80's/early 90's. Colorful, simple and focused on blasting your enemies, dodging bullets and collecting those power ups. It even employs the tried & tested formula of aliens taking over the planet and you are the only pilot capable of fighting back against the invaders. All this did give me those little pangs of nostalgia. But I purposely held off doing this review until the game was released and I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOTE: This game was given to me by the developer for review purposes. This did not influence my review in any way. ========================================================== ---------------------------------------OVERVIEW------------------------------------- ========================================================== FullBlast is a modern take on an 80's style shoot-em-up. Play single- or two-player and take on the alien invasion that's threatening the Earth.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had pre-access to this game but unfortunately Steam hasn’t recorded my full gameplay time! But that a side when you play FullBlast if like me, you will almost have a surge of memories stretching back to those old classical vertical shooters especially from the 80’s and this game is a nostalgic throwback to those days spending your pocket money on Arcade Machines. In the 90’s my games library was taken up with vertical shooters as I made my way through the 16-bit era so I have had some good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As far as SHMUP games go (or vertical scrolling shooters..) this is one of the more generic offerings on Steam. FullBlast's theme of an alien/insectoid threat destroying cities and a military being deployed to deal with them is nothing new, and has been depicted better in many other titles. After you're done "Welcome to Erf"ing a few levels of enemies you begin to really notice how repetitive the enemy and level variety are, with the attack patterns and enemy types mostly all looking the same.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredibly generic vertical-scrolling shoot 'em up to the point of being boring. You have 12 randomly-generated levels separated in 3 settings or environments (city, forest, snow). Each level lasts about five minutes and overstays its welcome. Serious lack of variety in environments (that do look good) and enemies. Even the big bosses repeat. Only two weapons that are basically shooting straight or in a cone. Mediocre and repetitive guitar rock music always seeming to be the same tempo. It…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another shoot'em up that is a bit boring to play. Levels are long and slow paced. Visuals not bad and enemies have some variety but still... After completing stage you immediately start next one without any loading or transition so it's hard to say which level you're currently in. When you die start level over. Power ups are scarce so make sure not to get hit. Playable but mediocre at best.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Monotonous, overpriced and mundane is how I would describe this game. Hear the rock soundtrack on the demo video? Imagine that 10 second clip not changing the whole way through the game as well as the first 10 seconds of gameplay just being exactly that even after stage 2. Uninspired enemy type, placement, powerups, music etc. The graphics are clean but the hit detection is off. That bullet hit me from over there? If this was a $1.50 game and it often went on sale for 75cents sure, why not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not a bad game. I'd actually recommend it if your new to shmups games. It's just not particularly great. The controls are fine. The background looks great. But the enemies are repetitive. There aren't a lot of powerups. Some bosses seem really hard. Others are cake. This could very easily have been a really good game. As it stands its just average.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →so ok, i completed the game. i believe i 100% it, i unlocked all achievements at least. i thought about it and was going to not recommend. thought about it some more, playing on hard mode was a bit satisfying so maybe a thumbs up and a maybe recommend. but ultimately, no. i do not recommend. nothing about this game is enjoyable or satisfying. graphics, game play, gimmicks. nothing. compare it to other similar type games, not worth it. not challenging, not fun. even on hard mode. and i'm just a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely repetitive, every level looks almost exactly the same, a dull grey city. No variation in gameplay. Had potential and seemed good when i started but i was bored after the third level.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A big disappointment : nice graphics but boring gameplay, even on hard difficulty. 3/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While not a bullet hell shmup and more like the Genesis classic Fireshark, the game uses too much filler and ultimately is unsatisfying. store.steampowered.com/app/373610
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Starting with the basic information, FullBlast is a vertical Shmup (not a bullet hell) game based on the yet classical pattern of fighting the alien hoard that, for no apparent reason, invaded Earth. Its structure consists of three different play areas (Urban, Jungle and Arctic) each of these adding four maps to the aforementioned sector. On terms of storytelling, you have only the casual before/after mission dialogues, rendering it clear, even from the beginning, that this game is not about…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny! I play with my son together through the level. Steam need more games like this! Easy controls and much BOOM!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very satisfying gameplay but there is only one mode (albeit with three difficulty settings) and runs are far too long. OK for the occasional old-school style blast of fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not exactly the most exciting scrolling shooter out there. The 10+ stages feel very samey, with barely more than a handful enemies repeated throughout. The stages are even quite long, so I found myself only looking forward to the boss at the end of each. The bosses also start repeating, which is a clear sign that your game is far too long for the tiny amount of content it has to offer. It should have taken a cue from far better arcade shooters, in which the standard tends to be A) only 5-7…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool minor shooter game and buyed it from discount so it is worth of price. Cool graphics and lot of different enemies and good controls
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this cheap on sale. It's a fun little arcade-type shooter. Not particularly difficult or deep but it satisfies the need to shoot stuff when you've got down time. If you want a casual type of shooter you could do worse, buy on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →***Please note that I received this game for free in order to review it*** Greetings Everyone! Today we will be reviewing FullBlast a small arcade top-down shooter reminiscent to the old arcades. I played a lot of these as a child when we actually had coin operated arcades everywhere (especially in county fairs) but haven’t heavily played them in quite a while mainly due to my shift towards single player and co-op style games of the non-arcade style. Historically these game types have been…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This video features a quick look @ the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTz-3yroH-I Retro scrolling shoot-em-up with a cool esthetic. FullBlast is a retro style vertical Shoot'em up that will delight nostalgic players who have grown up playing SHMUPS on arcade machines. FullBlast's graphics are inspired on titles from the 80's and 90's, but using current technology and visuals, so it may result also attractive for the new generation of players that could discover a genre largely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Não é um jogo ruim.Tem uma ótima jogabilidade e mecânica, mas peca por ser repetitivo ao extremo me fazendo lembrar jogos de smartphone.Se tivesse variações de fases seria um ótimo game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game revolves around a long shot hero pilot, single handily saving the planet from an alien invasion. Very standard premise for a SCMUP. It all about that action. 12 levels in FullBlast with three difficulties to choose from. In those levels there is a bit of repletion with the enemy types and locations. Scenery is mostly City, but it does change to traveling over Water. There are 6 small fodder enemies that look like insects, 2 mini boss types with different color palette that show up…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Straightforward, no-frills shmup like it's from the late 80s or early 90s. Two things I think drag the game down a bit though...First is there are only two different weapons with a few upgrades for each weapon and that's it. You can keep grabbing the powerups after you max out but all it will do is change your weapon. Secondly, the butt rock soundtrack (or single song I should say), is atrocious. Other than that it's a serviceable shmup that has good level design, difficulty and enemy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the comic styled graphics. Fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WOW! awesome little game, looks like a cutesy Raiden at first. But sadly its not. On normal its a very casual game, almost too easy. There seems to be 4 levels on 3 different environments, city, forest and water. Each level is roughly 5-6 minutes each. Although I haven't played through the whole game, its starts to pick up in the middle on normal. Don't let the 61MB download fool you, there is a lot of content here. Graphics and sounds are pretty good too, very impressed it seen my…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Round 8 Youthberk, I misplayed on my Persona ride turn but not Persona riding when I had it. I played it off, but it didn't matter when my opponent was early healing and stopped all my attacks with a defensive OT. Still a fun game. FullBlast ate 2 PGs.
unlabelledView post →Sound: 3 Graphics: 7 Story: 2 Gameplay: 5 Commands: 4 Fun: 4 Time to load / lag: 9 Bugs / Problems: 8 Final score: 4
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just to echo the other reviews, the 12 levels are generally too long and uninspired, there's not many surprises in this and it's very generic. However it must have some charm as I stuck with it for a couple of play sessions until I completed it and it did play pretty well. As a purchase on sale, I can't begrudge what I paid for it but there are so many more polished inspired vertical shooters on steam worthy of your time. This game is towards the back of the queue for your vertical shoot em up…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Most repetitive SHMUP I have ever played . (Hundreds..) Most levels look alike and are just scrolling repititions of the same parts over and over again, until the game thinks it's been enough, not untill you reach the end of something. After that you'll get "another" boss wich very often is the same boss as in the previous level. Perhaps two instead of one. It's also way too easy on normal, yet I'm sure i'm never going to find out how difficult it is on hard.....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute little game. Easy even on normal. Can't tell how hard it is in difficult, since the "finish the game"-achivements are broken in my case. (or does it need more than finishing all 12 levels to "finish the game on normal"?) So I lost interest in trying. Its a pity. Even more since it looks like the dev is caring about bugs. But sorry, as long as the achievements are broken, my thumbs goes down.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →got it in a sale. nice little simple bullet hell. Nothing special, exactly what it says on the tin. for the price i paid I got my moneys worth. suggestions though, make weapon upgrades more interesting and change the music
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh Yeah! Kill them all!! Fun shoot 'em up that gets MUCH harder in the last few levels. Not a bullet hell game, but it may seem it to those not used to bullet hell. 7/10
