unlabelledView post →Gonna sound a little trite, but I'm glad that binging Cinema Therapy videos last night reminded me of Frozen II. Whatever you think of that movie, "do the next right thing" is damn good advice.
unlabelledView post →"Much like Frozen II, The Incredibles 2, and Toy Story 4, we may not have needed a sequel, but at least the one we got is enjoyable and manages to actually push the story forward." My #Moana2 review is live at /Film! www.slashfilm.com/1723102/disn...

unlabelledView post →I really do think Frozen II is the best looking recent Disney film... It’s just so beautiful!
unlabelledView post →Pizza and movie night so of course we're watching Frozen II for about the 3400th time. Into the knoooooooown
unlabelledView post →Frozen II is not just a good movie, it’s better than Frozen. Songs too.
unlabelledView post →[vent] "For the First Time in Forever" broke me. Disney's *Frozen* and *Frozen II* contain some of my favorite songs, sung by some of my favorite singing voices. One of these singing voices belongs to Idina Menzel. Every since I watched *Wicked* live, I have been in love with her voice. And the songs *Let it go* and *Into the Unknown* are also really beautiful and powerful. Now, I absolutely adore *For the First Time in Forever* too, sung by Kirsten Bell and partially by Idina Menzel in…
unlabelledView post →Kind of a random thought I had the other day while watching Frozen II. They had to completely erase Elsa's evolution in the first movie to tell another story. None of her decisions in the second movie make sense when you watch both movies back to back.
unlabelledView post →FROZEN II (2019, Disney+, #film) Several absolutely sensational setpieces that require an hour of story boilerplate, fanservice, and stalling songs to get going. How is this story so convoluted? Why is this *constantly* failing ~Who's Doing What Where And Why Do We Care~ with eight writers? >>
unlabelledView post →(Little Thread) The Hollywood animated/family box office performance of 2019 is quite interesting. Of course, the Disney films of Toy Story 4 and Frozen II made over a billion dollars with the latter becoming the third highest grossing film of that year behind LA Lion King and Avengers Endgame…

unlabelledView post →Just got home from watching Zootopia 2. That’s how you do a sequel, Disney. It’s their best animated movie since Encanto. Fourth time’s (Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen II, Moana 2) the charm, folks.
unlabelledView post →Frozen II is a garbage movie with a great associated documentary. I could watch that documentary over and over. Not the movie though. Woooof. But project management is..... so.... important.

unlabelledView post →Man, The Sin Squad is desperate. Say what you want about Frozen II, but can we all agree that the songs are one of the best parts of the movie or at least for me that it’s nearly on par with first film’s soundtrack?
unlabelledView post →Frozen II is a very good movie that is misunderstood in all directions it is possible to be misunderstood.
unlabelledView post →With a global total of $1.464B through Tuesday, Zootopia 2 has passed Frozen II to become the highest grossing Walt Disney Animation Studios film ever globally. Zootopia 2 grossed an est. $14.5M internationally on Tuesday. Est. international total stands at $1.131B. #Zootopia2 #BoxOffice
unlabelledView post →Frozen II is *such* a good friggin' movie.
unlabelledView post →(Warning: spoilers ahead). In Disney’s 2019 film Frozen II, there was an old warrior named Lt. Mattias (who was later promoted to General). Mattias was the commander of his late King’s personal guards, and he was under the impression that his rivals had started a decades-long conflict. 1/6
unlabelledView post →Watching this film for the first time since it came out, and uhhhhhh I think I *love* Frozen II. Like I think if the Kristoff subplot was less stupid it would be a Top Tier Disney movie. Crazy how it’s a whole 5 ass years old and Disney’s not made a better looking film since.
unlabelledView post →And after staying a float throughout the summer, the film made a total of $154.4 million domestically and $496.4 million worldwide. Making it the first Disney/Pixar animated film since Frozen II to make more than $400 million globally.
unlabelledView post →Sometime next week AVATAR: FIRE & ASH will pass Barbie & Frozen II to become the #16 highest grossing film of all time & a lot of dudes will still argue it's a "flop". I think this # is around where the filmmakers hoped the sequels could hit & then THE WAY OF WATER overperformed & shocked everyone.
unlabelledView post →MASSIVE BREAKING: #Zootopia2 has officially become Walt Disney Animation Studios’ highest grossing film of ALL TIME, dethroning Frozen II! It is now the 4th highest grossing animated film of all time!
unlabelledView post →I think it's fair to say that Frozen I, standing entirely on its own, has aged... not poorly, exactly, but not in the manner of a fine wine or anything. It was somewhat of its moment in the cultural dialectic. However, Frozen II is great in that way where it elevates the first film, too
unlabelledView post →Doesn't Olaf die and resurrect at the end of Frozen II because "water has memory" or something? I don't know, I only saw that movie once and could be remembering things that never happened.
unlabelledView post →If you see this, post a gift of your favorite Disney animated film. Frozen was a VERY close second, but Frozen II was Elsa's movie. Also love Hercules, Mulan, and Brave!
unlabelledView post →Olaf from the 2019 Disney movie Frozen II says, "Advancing technologies will be both our savior and our doom". I think he's on to something.
unlabelledView post →I haven’t dug much more into it but watching Frozen II through a gaylor lens made it feel like they made the first film just to get to the second one
unlabelledView post →Frozen II was such a pretty movie. It's too bad the people who made it had no idea what it was about. #chetrambles
unlabelledView post →And don’t get me even started on the two animated films before and after Frozen II. Say whatever you want about the second film, but I think we can all agree that it’s miles better than both Arctic Sh*t and Lego Movie Rip-off.
unlabelledView post →Beating Frozen II and especially 2019’s The Lion King (which helm that title for 5 years) to become the highest grossing animated film of all time…….

unlabelledView post →Say what you will about this movie. It did do the acknowledgement of what a broken base the first film's award-bait song was better than Frozen II. letterboxd.com/tristan_pett...
unlabelledView post →Final snowmageddon update from KC: Snow has mostly stopped. Back sore from shoveling because I'm old. Wife chose to watch Frozen II over Snowpiercer for the night's movie, which I initially scoffed at, but was a fun Broadway musical close to the day. Mad props to Ryan Ross for "Into the Unknown."

unlabelledView post →Just watched Frozen II with my son. Normal people cry when someone does in a movie, I cry when shit hits the fan and someone does something incredibly cool and heroic, like when Elsa races against the water to save her kingdom, haha. My son was like, Mom? What's happening?? Poor child. 😂
unlabelledView post →Here is a fanart of Little Kate Ashby (Kate Smith) turning to stone. In this case, Kate Smith went too far into the past. This is inspired by the 2019 film Frozen II, BTW (the scene where Elsa got frozen by going too far into the past) #littlekateashby #frozenii
unlabelledView post →Anyways, both of these films bombed so hard not just because of Frozen II alongside other big name films like Jumanji Next Level and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but because of bad marketing and bad word of mouth why they both have almost empty seats during their time in theaters.
unlabelledView post →And I know a lot of people will be pointing out that this is because of the anticipation of the Disney films like Toy Story 4 and Frozen II and that they marketed a lot more than almost any other animated film released during that time.
unlabelledView post →Hey, look at that. Over the weekend AVATAR: FIRE & ASH surpassed Frozen II and Barbie to take the #16 spot on the highest grossing films of all time. Has a good chance of passing Top Gun: Maverick before the end of the month. Not bad for a movie lonely weirdos on box office Reddit call a miss.
unlabelledView post →Watching the Frozen II documentary and the fact the people who worked on it stated they had not animated a single piece of the actual film despite releasing their first trailer with a little less than a year to finish it was REALLY damning. Holy shit, I feel so bad for animators, what the fuck?
unlabelledView post →TBH, better to make things when their ready rather than push filmmakers to churn out a film, that's how you get poorly structured plots like Frozen II.
unlabelledView post →I’m fascinated by Frozen II. Have you watched the officially sanctioned behind-the-scenes stuff? It’s all about how they had no idea how to finish the movies but just kept writing songs and having meetings and then, welp, we had to release a movie.
unlabelledView post →I've said that I'm one of the people who thinks Frozen II is better than the first film, although given how Wish was such a bad experience that it actually lowered my opinion on most, not all, but most of Disney Animation's 2010-20s output, I don't know if that means anything anymore!
unlabelledView post →Oh and I remember liking Frozen II okay but feeling the ending sort of messes with the first movie. Not even sure I can explain why since it’s not like the sisters are far away from each other. But it does feel forced
unlabelledView post →We’ve been watching a lot of Frozen and Frozen II in this household and I know it’s not the general consensus but I really do think Frozen II is the better film.
unlabelledView post →3 Songs Left! Track #18: "Into The Unknown" by AURORA Main theme of FROZEN II, this version is a lullaby-like version unlike Idina Menzel's Elsa adventure-seeking film one. This take can be Starbaby looking forward to his new life as an Adult Baby. open.spotify.com/playlist/69o...
unlabelledView post →It's like that scene in Frozen II, where Olaf just makes this out of nowhere summary of the events of the first movie. Like, did I ask for that, Olaf? Did I ask for that, Kingdom Hearts III?
unlabelledView post →@willowcatelyn.bsky.social Willow, I saw on Letterboxd that you liked Frozen II, and since I recently watched it for the first time with my daughter and spent half the movie thinking "am I crazy or is this a trans allegory?", I'm curious if you had a similar read? I know it's been like six years lol

unlabelledView post →Well Frozen II is my favorite Disney movie. Does that count?
unlabelledView post →If you have Disney+, I recommend "Into the Unknown: Making Frozen II." It's a 6-part docuseries about the last year of making the movie. Whether you like the Frozen movies or not, it's a fascinating look into what it takes to make an animated film. It's so much more complex than I ever imagined.
unlabelledView post →Because I get bored when I'm blocked on real writing, I have decided I will rank every musical number to appear in an animated Disney film. Because of this, I'm forced to watch Frozen II and Wish. I believe these hardships make my list deserving of being read by every single person.
unlabelledView post →I think this pinpoints exactly why Frozen II is the better movie. Although, isn't Defying Gravity supposed to have that same nuance?
