Fracture
A husband is on trial for the attempted murder of his wife, in what is seemingly an open/shut case for the ambitious district attorney trying to put him away. However, there are surprises for both around every corner, and, as a suspenseful game of cat-and-mouse is played out, each must manipulate and outwit the other. From TMDB

In Fracture, he's Irish/ Scottish/Welsh as he squares up to Ryan Gosling in a superior thriller.3/5 film-authority.com/2025/05/08/f...

Neither really took her Gobots origins into consideration when writing her.

When Legacy Crasher was announced I just immediately compared it to this one, and it came up short. - I don't think I'll ever get motion blur looking right. Sigh. #baypril #transformers #toyphotography

Early pictures of Shatter's jet mode showed it with a similar color scheme to Crasher's toy. Suggesting she'd grow to resemble Crasher's design the more alt modes she scans.

unlabelledView post →Evening Funny People 🥃 🙃 A monster movie of a different kind. 2007's FRACTURE was an example of the (now extinct), mid-budget movie. Stellar cast. Great script. Hopkins brings his charisma to a spouse-killing engineer, who believes his knack for spotting flaws will keep him from facing justice.

unlabelledView post →Off the top of my head, the closest I can recall him playing a role like that is his character in ‘Fracture’. In that film he plays a hot shot laywer about to get a fantastic job who gets sucked into a case with a truly evil man. Pursuing the case shakes his previous belief in himself.

unlabelledView post →This has all the ingredients of a classic crime drama - a great cast, some slick writing and a healthy dose of suspense. Sir Anthony Hopkins as the meticulously fiendish aeronautics engineer/millionaire ("Crawford") who discovers his wife is up to some mischief and so takes matters into his own hands (or does he?). Ryan Gosling ("Willy Beachum") is the sloppy and complacent prosecution attorney with his eyes on a big, private sector, promotion away from the district attorney's office so is…

I could write a long review about the film but I realise it wouldn't be that different to what others have already said about it, so my only criticism goes to Anthony Hopkins. I enjoy watching Anthony Hopkins. I really do. He is a brilliant actor and deserves all the credit he gets. However, his acting seems rather repetitive. He is always assigned to play the role of a man who is highly intelligent, mysterious, always a…
