negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The program is great for what I paid for. The community on discord is great and helps with any questions. At this point though it is a dead program, no progression after more than 2 years, promised updates shown on youtube never happened. The creator even came back this year and gave us hope and promised the update would be completed in a couple weeks. He asked for some money to be able to finish and promptly vanished.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am not the demographic the developer was going after with this. I'm a senior woman, not a gamer, never played DnD or anything similar. But I LOVE this and think the developer should consider another demographic for future versions....old folk. With age, bad eyes, crippled backs and arthritic fingers mean we have to give up hobbies/interests we've had for decades. I was an artist and gardener, and neither am I now capable of doing. This game allows me to garden and paint landscapes with no…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Developer left the game! they promised much and barerly updated the game and then left.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please don't abandon this project, it's great for creating 3D scenes for people who don't know anything about 3D modelling!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, I am not telling this is bad if you just want to create some nice scenery in 3D and just look at it to enjoy. Go for it. Buy it, satisfy your imagination. You can import custom made 3D models too (with color profile as well). It takes some knowledge about how to save and name 3D designs in the required formats to do so though. But if you are looking at exporting anything you created, just forget about it. There is no way to export your creation. (You can take JPG screenshots…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda buggy, but still too good, something to meditate and to relieve stress. You can build and add too much details to your world and make the most beautiful scenery that you can think of. Even with the default presets. I hope the devs can finally get back to it to add more updates. Maybe also fix the copy paste bug, and I find it hard to find and import files so maybe add workshop content so instead of downloading and importing manually we can easily subscribe to them easily. Overall it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: You can create amazingly beautiful landscapes with this tool and for that reason I recommend it. However, there is a lot of room for improvement regarding UI design and usability. Photography and scenic landscapes are a big passion of mine and this software definitely delivers in those aspects. It’s almost impossible to create something that doesn’t look beautiful. Everything looks great out of the box. Compared to advanced 3D software products like Blender, this is a lot more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a promising product. Unfortunately, it's been abandoned for years, and even the promised features have not materialized.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really disappointing application. Fun to toy around with, but lack of assets, absence of steam workshop, and poor optimization makes this fairly dated. Avoid this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game because it looked like a cool and relaxing game where you could create 3D nature scenes with animals and have a relaxing experience creating art. However, the controls are so frustrating as make it unplayable and not relaxing at all. After an 1.5 hours of trying to figure out how to do things that should be simple to do like zoom in on a scene or add grass to the ground on the map so it's not just a barren patch of dirt, I got really stressed out and quit. I bought it when…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game really helps me visualize locations in my novel. It's really brought some scenes to life with details I wouldn't have thought of without the excellent models. I do wish there was more as far as building types since I am not a modeler, myself, but what is available is amazing as it is!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FlowScape is a pretty interesting game, if you do love to make pretty landscape screenshots, you can create your own originals ones here and that's the fun ! I did had a little bit of hard time with the camera but outside of this the game is pretty user friendly when you have a bit of understanding (and read the keybinds lmao). Wish there was a workshop or more content in general in the game. ;w; I'm not pretty active on posting stuff in this game, but if you wish just even to see pretty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kind of useless with no export to STL or OBJ feature. Would love to 3d print my creations in here or even do some things in blender with it. But What you make in here stays in here, unfortunately.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really good for what it is... but no updates in over 2 years. at this point i would assume there will be no further updates and this has been abandoned. Which is sad I would have loved to see more assets, OR and this would be cheaper and easier , offer mod support. That would allow the community to keep your game alive for a long long time and possibly build a huge following from modders. Just my 2 cents. If you want relaxing and creating this will scratch that itch just know the above…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you think this will help with DnD, it wont.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Appears to have been dumped out of Early Access early and left unfinished with the dev nowhere in site. The biggest problem is the brush tool disappearing after running for a few minutes. ......It's like the only tool
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This 3D Naturescape creator is incredibly powerful and easy to use, providing incredibly high quality visuals for personal art - and in my case for use in DnD map making however... It's an abandoned piece of work, there are huge issues involving saving/sculpting/erasing - the lack of an undo button that WORKS properly is major, and often saves have invisible remnants of old saves esp involving sculpting. Basic controls are not great, but also not terrible - it's really only the bugginess and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🌺7/10🌺 A great game but if you get easily bored this one is probably not for you. The game is good the graphic are great but if you are buying it i would recommend waiting on a sale. If you need something peaceful to play to escape the negative thoughts or stress this is great but you will probably not play it for long. I would love to see more movement of the animals honestly but thats just me. You have great options to adjust literally anything from light, water, texture etc.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all, this is NOT a game, someone perhaps frames it as such, in reality it is an excellent 3d ecosystem creation program (like Vue xstream or Terragen) but not so sophisticated, in order to make it accessible to a wider audience. PS: Request to the programmers of this little gem: Add the keyboard remapping (I use Blender, Maya) and I am used as I believe many others to the standard layout of 3d programs. Thanks for your attention =;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Free your imagination
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Steams hidden D&D (or other Role Playing game) map maker. Make a small map quickly, make it look great. export the views and maps you need. Videos, animations, 360 captures etc. This is an excellent map building tool for say tabletop simulator or foundry VTT
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FlowScape was a diamond in the rough. It had so much potential but, unfortunately it seems to have been abandoned by the developer years ago because of family problems. This is a hobby level app that you can use to quickly and easily create simple outdoor scenes. This is NOT a professional level app but if your are a hobbyist you fill be surprised at the caliber of content that can be created. If you ever used Bryce or Vue Studio, it is reminiscent of Bryce's simplicity, but technologically…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As great as it looks, Flowscape is very limiting in what it can do. The minimum size of models is still pretty large. Map sizes are fixed and small. Painting the terrain is almost nonexistent. If you have any hope of doing more then a tiny island on the water or one view of a scenic location then go for it, but it's a very limited program that has no future of further developments. There's plenty of technical difficulties and limitations and the developer has had life problems and shows no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A real shame, game has been abandoned after so many dazzling promises. Loved it, but its been abandoned with all the promises by the dev broken. This game is dead, I wouldn't recommend buying it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately it is underdeveloped and the project has been abandoned for some years now, so I cannot recommend it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, I haven't been using Flow Scape for that long, so it might still be a bit early for a review. However, I feel like I've understood everything well and if I notice anything else later, I can always revise it. And one thing I want to mention right away: Before I bought it, I read something in the reviews, but so far I haven’t once experienced the issue where placed elements suddenly go missing despite saving. If that happened more often, we’d be having a very different conversation. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel like a 3D version of Bob Ross with this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful and relaxing game but there is no export feature, as well as the product is abandoned and the promised features have not been released in many years.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's totally dead since at least 2020. Don't buy it, there's almost no content.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend this software (this is not a game) for people who play D&D or who enjoy making art, but there are frustrations you should be aware of. 1. Settings do not persist. EX: You will have to adjust the music volume every time you load the program. Same with camera speed and every other setting as far as I can see. 2. Camera is counter-intuitive and I am aware of no way to rebind keys. I was able to adjust to this over time. 3. Upon starting the program, there is no initial way to load a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →English + Deutsch It could be such a beautiful, versatile, extraordinary and unique game and this was a positive review first. But now, after several attempts of trying to get used to things (including Tutorial videos), I just find it too annoying and a pain which is why I have to turn this into a negative review after all, unfortunately because I really wanted to like this game. The controls are really absolutely horrible and a nightmare to me which ruins everything. In all other games,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It needs more filled out with more content. But its great. Add Workshop please
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If Developers would make more games like this, our world would be more happiness and kind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey, since this is on sale for $3 as of writing this, it's absolutely worth that. I snagged it for $10 on itch, and for $15 on steam, have gifted it to a couple folks, and still consider it worthwhile at those prices. The GOOD: Zen landscape designer, where you can tweak just about every element of the scene as you like. It's a calm pass-time to play with the randomizer, see what you get, and if you like something, adjust it. A fairly wide spread of assets, and allows you to import more if you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is what it is. I've made some really cool scenes with it. Google "flickr flowscape gallery" to see what people have made, either alone or in combination with gimp and other art tools. Some of it is very impressive. It is more than a little janky. And the detractors are correct that the UI has a lot of friction and you must rely on YouTube to learn how to use it. For instance, it supports importing outside 3d models but you will only learn that from community tutorials. I've made…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A landscape software... WITHOUT MEASURING TOOLS?! Flowscape has the same damnable issue as Zoo Planet - and the more you play, the more it becomes apparent in the loading screens... You can't do 'crafts 1.0.1' and take measures first to plan your build (unless you're willing to stack zebras on top of each other to gauge height...) I mean, how is anyone supposed to check actual line-of-sight and field-of-view if there is no way of making sure your subject is at the intended distance and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an interesting concept, but a pain to work with in reality. All kinds of bugs with models. I save a file only to open it up back later to find deleted objects that reappear and cannot be deleted. Was hoping to use this to model a park for a work project and it is not working very well at all unfortunately.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Endless possibilities and the graphics are great!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've experienced this modeling program for only a couple hours, but I can tell you some of the great and bad things about it. The Bad: - Controls are wonky. This is to say that the controls, while explicitly simple, do not always function as they are described on the YouTube Tutorial. They say that Q and E are to move your view up and down, which is true, but midway through my project, it simply...didn't work. This is just one example out of a few that I have experienced. - Sometimes the sound…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cute little tool for making pretty landscapes when you're zoning out. I don't open it often, but when I do I have a chill time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Technically it is not too bad, but you can get roughly the same pictures/vibes when you install something like UE5 and place assets and build environments there
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not that good plus the controls are not intuitive at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good for relax, but limited for creating.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has not been updated since 2021. Do not buy unless you don't mind that the game is dead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Allowing me to learn how to sculpt landscapes and buildings for virtual worlds and it's amazing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are just looking to place assets around a space and make pretty, scenic images, this isn't bad. If you are looking for any real functionality beyond that; the controls are clunky an unintuitive, the asset library is limited and overall not very useful if you are looking to use this to design maps or terrain for TTRPGs, etc.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a peaceful game if you love nature and to build.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was interesting for about the first 30 minutes, but after that it just felt limited and frustrating. I guess if you've never used a fully-featured 3D scene editor it feels okay for plopping assets onto a scene, but ultimately it's less stressful and probably faster to create a scene by just using something like the Unity scene editor itself. I guess having a built-in library of 3D assets out of the box is kind of nice, but that's it. Performance is also not great (Ryzen 9 9950X and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was not at all "effortless" as described. The UI is so clogged and hard to read, and I was left unimpressed by the graphics. the game also crashes sometimes and the camera controls are unpredictable t say the least. There was also no tutorial to speak of- and, sure, I could find one on YouTube but why would it not just come with a PAID game ??- so that was incredibly frustrating. This was not worth the price point of $17 and I would absolutely love a refund for this, as (for me) it was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is amazing!!! It has the flexibility to modify the scene to perfection without the complexity of a 3D design tool. I love it. Someone compared it with Tiny Glade. Both produce aesthetically appealing scenes. Though their purpose is very different. Tiny Glade is focused on relaxation and simplicity. Flow Scape is focused on details and precision. The UI is intuitive with plenty of useful tools. It also has a help popup screen to briefly explain the keyboard and mouse functions…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead trash. Sequel teased and abandoned. Scum developer.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a long time GM, this tool finally allows me to quickly map out scenes with real flavor. I'm going to use it in conjunction with Dungeon Alchemist for future Foundry VTT games. I really hope additional content will come available over time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Useful tool for creating D&D maps. Especially if you are going to make 3D or flyover components for it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Video is crazy off par. maybe its what they wanted this to be but never happened. land is limited to a small block that can only fit one building. Making a new map auto puts everything down like tf? really have to look for help and the amount of help that is there without going to reddit and looking things up is minimum. Dont expect more than 30min before you get annoyed and move on.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For abandoning the project…long time ago.. and convincing people on Discord that YES, an update is coming.. for LONG time… Honesty would help…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so calming! it's like writing you're own fairy tail!!! i HIGHLY suggest you try it out! 10\10 for me!!!! <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not sure how I feel about this. Overall, it is a very cool concept, but I wish there was more to it, piece together blocks to create massive ideas. This game is beautiful and the creations are endless. Honestly, it puts some AAA titles to shame. But all it is, is a relaxing builder sim. Nothing too grand, and nothing else really to do.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: The graphics are pretty and if you need a quick terrain-style map for a campaign, this can work in a pinch. Cons: Overpriced, few animal/tree/bush options, clunky, confusing UI, weird layering system for the ground/terrain that makes it almost impossible to edit, and the controls are literally so flipping awful that sometimes I want to scream. I really don't understand - nothing is at all intuitive. Things that should be simple are overly complicated. In fact, the surveying controls are…
