I can’t wait for y’all to be able to see it. Alicia MacDonald has done amazing on her directorial debut. So honoured to work with Working Title.

neutral · AI labelView post →Can I be honest. Finding Emily dying at the box office really is the trigger today. A movie I love that was everything I believe in died. And they’re not going to make more movies like it. Nobody saw it so I can’t discuss it. But movies that reflect things that hurt me did great. I’m really sad.

neutral · AI labelView post →Went to see a new Britflick romcom, Finding Emily, yesterday and dug it a goodly amount. Alas, likely to be ignored ‘cos of that Muppet and his daddy hitting silver screens on the same day, but that would be a shame. Fuller thoughts here. 👇 Take a look if you’re so inclined. boxd.it/evfb5d

And while I'm not a rom-com guy, the trailer did look interesting — even though you can tell exactly how it's going to turn out. Critics do like it so I guess I'm in. #Filmsky #FindingEmily

positive · AI labelView post →Having said that, the most consistently engaging, interesting film I saw today was definitely Finding Emily. It gave me a good number of proper laughs, wrestled valiantly with itself, and had really charismatic leads, especially Spike Fearn. It just didn't have a sort of Dark Crystal-light subplot.
