Along with this, there seems to be a weird screen tearing issue, but I fixed it by switching from fullscreen to borderless windowed. With the speed in battles fixed, this is pretty much just a SLIGHTLY better version of the previous port. This still does not feel like a major improvement Why do battles run at triple speed by default? And why does a re-release of a PS1 game have its own dedicated launcher? How do you make an arguably worse release of a PS1 game with an already middling release from 2013? The console port this was based on was fine as it is.
