That show also introduced me to Fantasy Island so so good. Sign up for a good time below. No-one is claiming responsibility for Bad Ronald though, you're on your own.

unlabelledView post →I don't want to alarm anyone, but Jeff Wadlow, the director of FANTASY ISLAND, TRUTH OR DARE, IMAGINARY, and CRY WOLF... has actually made a good horror film.
unlabelledView post →Really, he is best remembered for the Bond film and not the multiple year run as Tattoo on Fantasy Island?

I'd forgotten Leachman starred in it opposite Lloyd Bridges & Ed Asner. There's a theory this movie was the inspiration for Fantasy Island.👻 youtu.be/PnJC9Qjk0Qo?...

Join us for a brilliant WTF of a movie, starring Herve Villechaize (Fantasy Island), Danny Elfman, & Susan Tyrrell (Cry-Baby). Directed by Richard Elfman (Danny's bro). Not really a horror movie, but a AAA-Weirdo flick! #Horrorwatch

unlabelledView post →Some of my favorites (in no particular order): Cabin in the Woods Final Destination (the series, in order) Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2 The Thing - both films, 1982 then 2011 Happy Death Day - and the sequel Alien (first 3) The Breed The Vault Flight 7500 Dog Soldiers Fantasy Island (2020 film)

unlabelledView post →FANTASY ISLAND debuted as an ABC made-for-TV movie OTD in 1977, as guests initially paid the impeccably dressed Mr. Roarke (unforgettable Ricardo Montalban) $50,000 to fulfill those fantasies. Another movie followed one year later, and the series kicked off a week afterwards, running until 1984.

unlabelledView post →Not a horror movie, but entertaining. I was interested in the Fantasy Island rework in 2020, but didn't want to sit through a torture-fest. Turns out its characters' emotions drive the plot, rare in movies today. Adventure/drama. Expect plot holes. Now on Hulu. #horrormovies

unlabelledView post →My dedication to watching Maggie Q in things does result in taking in some absolute bobbins. Blumhouse Fantasy Island is not a very good film.
unlabelledView post →Scaramanga from "The Man with the Golden Gun" is what would happen if Mr. Rourke just gave up and turned "Fantasy Island" into "The Most Dangerous Game". Tatoo is even *in* the damn movie.
unlabelledView post →I remember seeing Bruce on The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Battle of the Network Stars, Wheaties boxes, movie cameos, etc… with his big Osmond Brothers’ white teeth smiling & bouncy hair optimism, and thinking what a FAKE… what a phony baloney… And transitioning to Kaitlin hasn’t changed my opinion.

unlabelledView post →So yeah, Hervé Villechaize. I love the fact that he was in the film, wearing tights, and kicking ass. This was a little over three years before the world would know him as Tattoo on Fantasy Island and immortalize him by shouting “Ze plane! Ze plane!”
unlabelledView post →Today we celebrate the birthday of Hervé Villechaize, born today in 1943. unlabelledView post →I'm a collector of B-movies. I've watched nearly all of Vincent Price's movies. One is called House of Wax. Right now I'm binge watching Fantasy Island. I'm on season (series in the UK) 6 where the show has long since switched to fantasies being done by magic. Many have been parodies. This episode I recognized right away. Oddly, this is one I've only seen a few times. There are things that are excluded that are probably too macabre for the intended audience. #bmovie #VincentPrice #fantasyisland

unlabelledView post →One of my favorite things about the movie "To Live And Die in L.A." We need more shows with rotating celeb guests and a consistent supporting cast, like "The Love Boat" or "Fantasy Island." Paranormal procedural has yet to be done that way.
unlabelledView post →I'm watching a movie where a giant ape throws rocks at a giant octopus. I am MORE than ready for Fantasy Island.
unlabelledView post →You'll be delighted (or annoyed) to know I've moved on to season 4 of Fantasy Island. In this season opener, Loni Anderson plays movie star Kim Holland, a crossover role she also played on The Love Boat that year.
