I love Star Trek but if I had to cosplay Trek for ETERNITY I’d freak out.

neutral · AI labelView post →Really loved ETERNITY (in theaters now). There is no reason this movie needs to be almost 2 hours long but the chemistry between the leads is charming and there are some very powerful, emotional moments between them. A movie about the difference between what we think love is and what it actually is

neutral · AI labelView post →I’m watching The Timekeepers of Eternity, a re-edit of the Langoliers that’s been fully recut, each frame printed on xerox, and animated together with stop-motion paper effects. Im only 8 minutes in and its already incredible youtu.be/tWkvaV8xXEM?...
neutral · AI labelView post →Went to the gym and now I’m seated for Eternity lol. I have spent 90% of my day in a movie theatre.
neutral · AI labelView post →Also did he compare my novel to a movie that came out ten years ago (Cloud Atlas) and an even older movie that's almost as old as I am (Blade Runner) and then call Toward Eternity hopping on that "trend"? A twenty year-old trend? What? Sloppy writing from the Korea Times.
neutral · AI labelView post →I go on about Eternity - a delightful, funny and heartwarming romcom - but that movie mines so many jokes out of “wait, everyone gets to choose their own afterlife? Even, you know, Nazis?” in script and set dressing.
positive · AI labelView post →Watching SUPERSTAR: THE KAREN CARPENTER STORY (1988) with my film fundamentals class after delivering a screed against a casually racist joke from the upcoming ETERNITY. I told them they had a responsibility to storytelling. I begged them to care.

negative · AI labelView post →Civil War II is not such a story. It's seven issues of Marvel going "look, the superheroes are going to fight about a real issue" and then Eternity stepping in and ending the story by fiat, and oh look is that a film also called Civil War in cinemas now?

neutral · AI labelView post →I went into Eternity (2025) expecting a low-rent Defending Your Life. 100% it's exactly that, though mustering a handful of B-movie sentimental pleasures of its own. It's really a Miles Teller showcase, though, if anyone really asked for that in a film. (But it's still Defending Your Life.)

neutral · AI labelView post →My advice: don’t see this movie. Watch Eternity, twice. The first time to enjoy Eternity, the second time to replicate watching One Night Only, but imagining if you cut 90 per cent of the jokes and replaced them with half-baked accounts of the theological underpinnings of Eternity.
