60 of 116 · most liked firstplayed duos and this game is very fun!! i bet playing with 4 would be even more fun and chaotic but i dont have that many friends there arent many songs (like 7) but its only the second day of the game being out and already a few songs on steam workshop so i bet there are more to come.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No local co-op, very disappointed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game so desperately wants to be Trombone Champ, but it lacks the charm, energy, and sense of humor that made Trombone Champ a great game, and what is here just makes me wish I was playing Trombone Champ instead. The selection of songs out of the box is rather small, this game feels like it is relying on there being a lot of songs being created from the Steam Workshop, and there really aren't that many songs available there either. And while this game has a variety of instruments that one…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the most unoptimized game I've ever played on my machine. How does this use so much memory and gpu power?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →only online co-op and no splitscreen :'( not enough difference between instruments. and no one sounds good. that makes it funnier, but short fun don't carry a game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game in which I can showcase my fantastic violin playing skills to my friends! (I do not play the violin) Pros: +rhythm game that can be played with friends +pretty funny +workshop support +4 equally (not) good instruments +each track has 4 "positions" (named after moba roles lmao) so depending on what you chose you will have to play different notes in the song; neat feature that actually makes coop feel like a band and also adds a tiny bit of replayability Cons -really little content at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game and Trombone Champ are like two halves of a beautiful painting that was torn in half - both games feel like they're missing the content the other game has. If they were put together, it'd make a hilarious multiplayer musical rhythm game like Wii Music was all those years ago. Unfortunately, we have no means to piece this metaphorical painting back together, and we're left with two games that need what the other one has. What Trombone Champ lacks in workshop support and multiplayer,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not a finished product!! SERIOUSLY don't buy this in 2025. this is not a critique of the minimal, stick figure aesthetic, or a complaint about copying trombone simulator. the devs provide 20 songs, but all but 7 are about tutorial level. and none of them are well designed. . .the musical arrangement/scoring is often slightly off. TBH, the songs feel like the devs just put notes down as literally as possible without any consideration for how that would be to play on the video…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is trombone champ but with multiple instrument and multiplayer which make it really fun to play with friend or random (unfortunately i haven't found random game personally) Is has mod.io support inside the game to download custom song. Unfortunately some of the instrument doesn't sound good which was a big plus in trombone champ. And if you want to aim for the best score on the leaderboard, you need to select the correct role cause some roles have more note and thus a higher score…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A music game for people who don't like music. Good: * mod support Bad: * ui is horrible, no song previews, menus don't make sense * all instruments sound bad, * intrusive fart sound effects that are always on and not a goofy option you can disable Play trombone champ instead, even ♥♥♥♥♥♥ trombone variants in that game sound better than anything this game has.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unless you're buying to play with friends, just play trombone champ.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No splitscreen.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game looks promising, and there are definitely some unique aspects to it, but it's hard to recommend it in its current state (unless you get it in a bundle). I like the inclusion of a multiplayer system, having a wide range of instruments to choose, and workshop support, but the game is still missing some basic QOL features. Some areas for improvement: -The input offset in the settings is measured as a percentage instead of in ms, which is very confusing. It starts at 50% so that's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad, but not good also... Way to similar to Trombone Champ (which I definitely recommend) and not only because of the mechanics, but also other details.... Not much songs (even the dev acknowledges that) and mod.io is a dumpster fire (few additional ones, bad UI, ...) stick with the workshop (you'll find more things there than mod.io). Overall, too crude so if you must get it, get it on a sale (at least 50% off, so the pain will be lesser). Since steam doesn't allow a sideways thumb, I'll…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's cheap pricewise, but the jokes, the presentation and - of course - the gameplay is hilarious. I've never had that much fun in a rhythm game before. Playing the Imperial March (from the workshop) on the flute completely breaks me every single time ... oh, and the Kazoo, too I guess this game even better with friends. Sadly, there isn't a local coop mode as of yet. *************************************************************************** One of the many loading screen jokes:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is such good fun, and for the price, it is a steal. As someone who plays some instruments both well and terribly, this hits home for the suffering I sometimes put people through ha ha. Even when you play well, you still sound that little bit hilariously terrible. The animations and videos in the background are also very comical, as are the noises when you mess up notes. If you enjoy rhythm games and you enjoy silliness, this is the perfect, relaxing, very fun game that will put a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Others have said it in the reviews but that doesn't make it any less true. Disaster band tries to be Trombone Champ so hard it's not even funny. But it lacks in almost every single way possible. It has zero of the charm from Trombone champ, poor sound and graphics and with terrible UI. There are also a very lackluster amount of songs, instead they seams to rely on mod support. The only saving grace is that it has multiplayer, but for me that's not enough.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blatant ripoff of Trombone Champ. I recommend that game much more than this. It has better visuals, better notes in sync, just overall better. This game is by no means bad per say, but it's like playing Cube World instead of Minecraft, if you catch my drift.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's the game where you play music by following simple musical notation with your mouse. You move a mouse up or down to regulate the pitch of the sound and press a mouse button to play a sound. The better you track lines of musical notation appearing on the screen the better score you get. Unfortunately even if you play perfectly, the only sound the game produces is cacophony. This is very displeasing and it shows that minimal effort was invested in this game. Developer tries to hide bad game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game too much. Super well done, super hilarious and new instruments being added, animated, creative and everything quite often. Only thing I DON'T like, which I wish they'd change, is the new changes to the old instruments. They sounded super smooth and "real" in the beginning, then suddenly updated them to be more ear piercing and "fake" if that makes sense. And if it does I hope others agree. Whatever, nontheless the game is great, worth the money and blabla, go get it!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunatley Trombone Champ is just so much better, at least this has multiplayer 6/10 Disasters Played
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best music teacher I have ever had. I have never gotten such productive feedback for whenever I get a note wrong, the game farts at me. Needless to say the game farts...A LOT.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a terrible ripoff of Trombone Champ, which already is far from perfect. Not worth it if they paid you to play it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7/10 this has what trombone champ was missing easy to use WORKSHOP!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THERE'S NO WAY MY DREAM GAME JUST CASUALLY DROPPED OUT OF NOWHERE FOR ONLY 7 DOLLARS MSRP WHAT IS THIS This is literally trumbone champ multiplayer mode and with workshop BUY IT
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun rhythm game, has 4 player coop make terrible music together! GLORIOUS! Easy to 100% for achievements as well! Just need some cards to go along with my muziks!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a silly little game, but the optimisation is so horrendous it ruins the whole experience. It crashes every 2-3 songs, and not only that but it crashes your entire pc with it - sometimes to the point where your only option is to pull out your power cable to make it stop because you can't even alt+F4 or task manager it. just buy trombone champ.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much as I'd like to recommend the game, I cannot in its current state. That is, if you're looking to play with more than one person. Some friends and I purchased the game hoping to play as a 3-stack, and there was a bug that didn't allow for us to start if there was more than 2 people at a time. I looked through the community hub to see if anyone else had this issue, and it seems that it's been an ongoing problem for some other players as well. However, some do have luck with getting it to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's pretty fun! Had a good laugh playin' duos. It needs a lot of love to grow.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was never good at playing music. This game helps in confirming this, while still being loads of fun!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →非常好游戏! MACHINE TRANSLATION ALERT: The following translation may not be entirely accurate or natural. Please note. Great game indeed! However, there are some significant issues with the music production. I hope the developers can address these promptly (even though it's been a while). In the music composition, there's a parameter…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →runs at 10fps on a 3080rtx and a beast of a cpu. the songs are bad. theres no customization anywhere. feels like a trombome game ripoff. and the workshop wont save it either. glad i got it super cheap. but still feel scammed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game should really be more popular for how well made it is. Great multiplayer game to muck around with. Hopefully more people get on this game and the workshop will thrive more in the future
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game with two other friends and we have cried many times laughing so hard. The modding community is constantly releasing new songs to play. The play time is really difficult to measure as the game is one of those that you can play if you don't really want to be competitive or the boys are calling it in 20 min. This is the perfect game to end the night. There are tons of cheesy jokes, the actual rhythm gameplay with your "exquisite" notes is hilarious, there are four different…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is ridiculous..... BUY IT NOW! Pros: - Super fun - The community catalogue is already growing at a pretty fast level - It is well made even with it's charm being it's kinda gimmicky stick figures Cons: - There isn't a lot of music options so it relies on community content - You can tell it's player experience would improve with multiple players vs one meaning to get the best you need friends with it. - As a game there is a limit to diversity you can have. It's a good game and I…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lovely little party game made by community active indie gamedevs with some polish needed to become the next gem in the party-game industry. My most wanted feature list: -couch coop -"Hit marker" on notes -more instruments like accordion and percussion -multiple difficulties per song -porting to smartphones / handhelds -more intuitive UI (song selection / multiplayer ready state) ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☑ Beautiful ☐ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was able to play with my girlfriend, and we had a good time. Currently only a handful of songs that take half an hour to get through all of them. Hoping more people take to the steam workshop to create quality ... beatmaps? A couple of things I would like to see. More instruments that could change the gameplay/difficulty Currently there is the fretless string Violin and Cello with the keyless Trombone and Slide whistle. With these instruments it is currently "difficult" to hit the note…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disaster Band, developed by PRODUKTIVKELLER Studios and published by Toplitz Productions alongside SunDust, is a rhythm game that deliberately shifts the genre’s focus away from technical perfection and toward shared fun, spontaneity, and musical chaos. Rather than positioning itself as a skill-heavy test of timing and precision, it embraces the idea that making mistakes can be just as entertaining as hitting every note perfectly, turning each session into something closer to a playful jam than…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Depressing Trombone Champ knock-off. First of all, there is not a single instrument that sounds good in there, and there is at least 10 different ones. Secondly, most songs have very questionable note placement, often you find yourself playing same note for 15 seconds which makes you sound like ferry. Also, often before and after songs there is pointless around 10 second wait times. And if that wasn't enough suffering they often just repeat the song without any changes up to 4 times to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Remember primary school music lectures when only a handful of students knew how to play instrument(s) and everyone pretty much sucked and how horrible that sounded all together? If not, after playing Disaster Band you will. While there's a very little amount of songs in-game by default, it's worth noting that game has Steam Workshop support and there's handful of songs ready to be downloaded and played too. If you're ears can handle anymore after playing main songs that is. Up for bad…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did! I thought the controls would be an issue, but they really work well. Mouse and keyboard work great, but my controller was just as simple and comfortable to use. There's a lot of potential here. Don't know how far the devs plan to take this game, but it would be great to see more content.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself is pretty fun. I love the humor and the wide choice of instruments, but most of the fun relies on playing multiplayer. Sadly, it's nearly impossible to find people to play with unless you have friends who own the game and are willing to play. The game is still fun for the price and there are nice songs made by other players, but for completionnists, getting the multiplayer achievements might be extremely tedious...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →El juego tiene buena pinta pero podrian agregar un modo para jugar con pantalla compartida en la misma PC o consola para divertirse con un amigo o pareja.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eh. It wasnt awful but its not something I would play long term. The song selection is also small, giving it less play hours.
