unlabelledView post →Exactly four years ago we released a game that changed our lives forever: Demon Turf! Without its success there wouldn't be a Demon Tides, or even a Bubsy 4D! A big thanks to everyone who joined Beebz on her first adventure. Expect exciting Demon Tides news VERY soon!~
unlabelledView post →I was about to dismiss this immediately but it's from the developer of Demon Turf/Tides, so we might be getting the first good Bubsy game.
unlabelledView post →If you want something to TIDE (heh) you over until our next game: Demon Turf Queen's Edition is currently 55% off during Steam's Spring Sale! This includes the Neon Splash and Tower DLCs!
unlabelledView post →Up next in the XP Stage lineup is Anton Corazza! @antoncorazza.bsky.social is a composer, rapper, and aerophonist on game OSTs including TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, UNBEATABLE, Demon Turf, and more. Anton has long been a participant in the VGM communities, performing a range of genres. Don't miss it!
unlabelledView post →Did you know that Beebz from Demon Turf appears in Decline's Drops? 3 indie guests are hidden in the Lethal Laboratory! Did you find them? I had so much fun adding them in the game, & there are many more planned! @fabraz.bsky.social , thank you very much once again for making this possible!
unlabelledView post →THERE. IT. IS. - DEMON TIDES!! Fabraz' latest title, a sequel to their hit game Demon Turf. Demon Tides is an incredibly expressive 3D platformer taking place in an open world environment! Trust me when I tell you, this game's FUN! Wishlist Demon Tides now! store.steampowered.com/app/2585890/...
unlabelledView post →I 100% Demon Tides! Genuinely one of the best platformers I've played. I liked Demon Turf well enough, but this was on the same level as Mario Odyssey and A Hat in Time for me. I loved every bit of this game and I'm sad that it's over! Thank you to everyone involved in the development of this 🤘❤️
unlabelledView post →HEY HEY HEY STOP THAT!! NO, I'M NOT A SHEEP!!! I'M NOT A PIGLET... 😭😭 oink.. oink... unlabelledView post →LFG! Demon Turf is a sick game. Naturally I am AMPED for Demon Tides. Then when I learned that Fabraz was making Bubsy 4D, I did a complete 180 on it. And I fucking haaaated Bubsy even as a child. That game is impossibly hard. Keep an eye on it, yall. I'm telling you Fabraz has the stuff.
unlabelledView post →Demon Turf: Neon Splash is especially worth your time as a platformer, IMO www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5bm...
unlabelledView post →Demon Tides Demo [2025] Open world 3D collect-a-thon platformer from the same devs bringing you Bubsy 4D! The characters are great, the controls are as tight as ever, and I can't wait for the full game. I also highly recommend the original Demon Turf, which I played for the first time last year!
unlabelledView post →Also if you haven't played Demon Turf, it's going cheap on Fanatical - it's the new version with all the expansions included. It is a VERY good 3D platformer with tons of smart movement options.
unlabelledView post →Now, this game is a mixed bag, the developers made some weird mistakes that I don't understand. I like this game so this will be a longer opinion piece. You can ignore most of the reviews because only 12 % of the players cleared world 2, the numbers only go down after world 2, sadly. I do not blame the reviewers because the developers made a big mistake so let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. The game is divided in 4 worlds + tons of optional / extra levels. For now let's focus on the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved the demo last year and the full game lived up to the promise, @fabraz.bsky.social's Demon Tides is a fantastic sequel to Demon Turf. Beebz has tons of moves and can tweak them endlessly, and the difficulty is enjoyably challenging from the start. hardcoregamer.com/review-demon...
unlabelledView post →I DID IT!! I FINALLY BEAT DEMON TURF!! Those final levels were insane, but it felt so good to finally conquer this game. Just an incredibly brilliant, fun, and tightly designed 3D platformer. Now, I am super excited to play the sequel, Demon Tides, when it eventually releases this year.
unlabelledView post →I did this one in celebration for Demon Turf Tower launch! One of my favourite indies, Im beyond hyped for Demon Tides, should draw a pice on that game too 👀
unlabelledView post →I wanted to like this game with all my heart, the platforming was fun and challenging and the music and character design was charming. It has almost everything going for it but the combat and boss fights are so glaringly bad and at times really not fun, that I simply couldn't leave a positive review. I would leave a mixed review option If I could.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(This is a joke go and play Bubsy 4D it is a legit jam and yes I’m saying that about a Bubsy game) (And then when you’re done go play Demon Turf/Tides)
unlabelledView post →I would understand this point, except they keep picking very specific devs. First it was the Giana Sisters 2012 devs that got a little overhyped because XBLA, then it was the Bit.trip Runner devs who made a Bubsy version of that in 2019 (no one remembers this game), and now the Demon Turf devs.
unlabelledView post →After 100%ing Demon Tides I decided to check out Demon Turf and it's also peak. I've been snorting their soundtracks for weeks. I really dig the way this game looks.
unlabelledView post →Still surprised that we are getting a new Bubsy game made by the same people behind Demon Turf so I'm sure they will do a great job, also I will definitely be looking out for a physical copy on the Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 #Atari #Bubsy #Gamecollector #Clear3stSpy
unlabelledView post →Genre names are still BS but this is on another level of BS, especially since said game (Demon Turf) doesn't look all that interesting and seems to reward skipping the Platforming part of a 3D Platformer
unlabelledView post →Demon Turf from the perspective of a prequel to Demon Tides I recently played Demon Tides and had a great time for the most part, so I instantly went straight to Demon Turf. But oh where do I even begin... What a mediocre and forgettable experience, that overstays its welcome while being overshadowed by repetitive and tedious tasks... The issues I have with Demon Turf are truly overwhelmingly high. To name a few: Levels are uninspiring and dull (with some exceptions), Puzzles are…

unlabelledView post →Demon Turf: this is the game that Demon Tides is a sequel to- I got it a while back and didnt get into it, but I've returned to it now I've finished demon tides. it's still a lot jankier than its sequel, but oddly I think the combat is better, it's a lot weightier
unlabelledView post →these devs are making bubsy 4d.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's really funny how I rarely see people asking for a new Bubsy game and it just happened And it doesn't look at bad at all and it's surreal It's also done by the people who worked on Demon Tides and Demon Turf
unlabelledView post →So not only were my predictions of potential DLC for Crossworlds and Re-Pac true, but the Demon Turf guy is making a new Bubsy game and it actually looks good???

unlabelledView post →Nope. This game just sucks. It's unfunny, EVERY character design sucks, checkpoint system sucks, movement sucks, combat system sucks, also most of level design and traps placement sucks. It's bloated with frustrating poopton of arcade/speedrun/challenge levels, and they also sucks (try to do golf courses. Ah yes, they sucks too). And I thought that "A Hat in Time" sucks, which is true, but Demon Turf sucks even more. Also no one asked for sequel, but it will probably suck too. Dev is…

unlabelledView post →This is a game by 3D platforming fans for 3D platforming fans - you can tell the devs know the genre's history backwards and forwards - but one that doesn't feel the need to advertise itself as Banjo-Threeie or Mario 65. The controls are tight and the level design is razor-sharp, but the aesthetic is what really sets this game apart: wild and anarchic and freewheeling, a reinterpretation of the classic "rated E for comic mischief" platformer vibe into something totally original and gloriously…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It would be no surprise if the new Bubsy game turns out to be really good (It's done by the team who works on Demon Turf and Demon Tides)

unlabelledView post →Demon Turf… honestly, idk where I stand with this game. You’ve probably read this exact sentence a million times in reviews, but if there was a “neutral” review button, I genuinely would’ve used it. I had fun with the game for a while, but the more I played, the more bored I got. To be fair though, I can totally see myself finishing it someday… I just don’t think that’ll happen anytime soon. First of all, you kinda do the same thing over and over throughout the entire game (or at least from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Congratulations @fabraz.bsky.social on Demon Tides! I absolutely loved Demon Turf and can't wait to check out Tides, this game looks to have so much love poured into it and its so easy to see! #demontides
unlabelledView post →one of the most frustrating platformers ive played in a while, all moves and jumps feel inconsistent and leads to falling off of stuff alot, combat is a drag but the game has charm, i dont want to dislike thius game but i do
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →what do you mean they made Bubsy into a scruffy middle aged cat with kids (???) And Bubsy 4D is by the Demon Turf people? it actually has promise
unlabelledView post →While this game has a lot of heart, it has absolutely no sauce. Beebz feels about as flat as she looks, none of her moves or attacks have any feedback or impact. The gameplay is frustrating, demanding you just intuit how hard the next segment is going to be, since it's up to you to place your own checkpoints. I got to world 3 and I just had to stop. I hope the sequel is much better, there's clearly a LOT OF LOVE put into this game. I just wish there was more than that. Also I'm sorry but why…

unlabelledView post →So, all of that is addressed in the video I’m working on (Bananza’s announcement pushed it back, but I’m hoping to get it out in a couple of weeks.) The extremely reductive answer: Demon Turf has Yooka & Laylee in its first game, while Jet Force had no preexisting DKU characters.

unlabelledView post →If you can get it on sale buy it and play through the first two worlds and you'll have a blast. Once you clear the first half of world three the levels start to troll you. You see the crazy thing about this game is they extend your move set after each boss fight. in 90% of games that would be great but in this one they make the use of that ability compulsory from then on, and they're all more likely to get you killed. You have the hookshot ability that will make you overshoot or undershoot…

unlabelledView post →Switch 2 code came in a little too late for me to meet embargo on Bubsy, so my review will go up tomorrow. That said, Bubsy 4D is… fine. Best Bubsy game, doesn’t really feel like a Bubsy game (for better or worse), and isn’t quite up to any of the Demon Turf/Tides games. But it’s fine.
unlabelledView post →14. Demon Turf I wanted to like this game more than I did. It's got a fun art style and writing, but something never felt quite right about the platforming and momentum... and frankly the combat was atrocious. I guess "good, but unrefined" is a succinct way to put it.
unlabelledView post →I played Demon Tides before this, but it's nice to see the humble beginnings of Beebz in Demon Turf.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Demon Turf is a fun game with satisfying jumping and platforming. I really like the big variety of your moveset and the combination you can do to move as quickly as possible. Combat is not particularly interesting, as you have to push enemies into the hazards, but it is manageable. The art style requires getting used to, as it has 2D characters moving in a 3D environment, which can be jarring, but overall, it is quite unique. Other issues I have are the small things that can hinder the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fabraz also has a good track record with Demon Turf and it's sequel Demon Tides. It might be the first un ironically good bubsy game... Ever.
unlabelledView post →A NEW ORIGINAL BUBSY GAME? MADE BY THE DEMON TURF/TIDES DEVS???
unlabelledView post →you can't have a punishing checkpoint system and a precision platformer that controls like trash. i boot up the game play a little then i miss a short jump that looks like it's ok so i'm like 6 kilometers behind the jump and i close off the game because i don't want to replay that section again, i should be able to land in a platform without hovering like i have done in every 3D platformer i've ever played and i've played a lot of them because it's my favorite game genre.
