neutral · AI labelView post →Easy way to keep these movies straight, if you’re watching John Goodman who seems to understand he’s in a genre movie with exploitation tropes you’re watching DEATH SENTENCE. If you’re watching Mancow play himself in a movie that feels like ascendant American fascism you’re watching DEATH WISH.

This film is NOT on US Blu-ray so this is currently the only way to own in HD other than importing. (Note both the theatrical and unrated cuts are on sale, but they are separate listings).

Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon is a game where players choose an actor to find the shortest path that leads to American actor Kevin Bacon.
neutral · AI labelView post →I remember the James Wan movie Death Sentence being a decent time. That’s from a book by the same author but has Kevin Bacon and John Goodman and Wan at least understands how to make the movie fun.
positive · AI labelView post →Mary Jo Pehl watched this during one her Movie Jo Night streaming events for Dumb Industries. Also Dying Room Only and Death Sentence, which also star Cloris Leachman.

neutral · AI labelView post →Based on your description I thought it might be something I'd find value in (I like 'Death Sentence' with Kevin Bacon and the first movie version of 'Man on Fire' with Scott Glenn), but the racism and brutalization of female characters was too much for me.
negative · AI labelView post →#97 Skinford: Death Sentence (2017) Tøff film, noe spennende konsepter, passende mengde gore og innhold. Noen litt røffe prestasjoner og filmen hadde kanskje hatt godt av noe tightere story. Ikke noe mesterverk, men veldig kul uansett. Må få sett toern.
neutral · AI labelView post →I found some old film canisters in my garage 📽 (behind the lawnmower, and the buckets of lead paint). This is a clip 🎬 of 'Death Sentence', where I play a vigilante judge who's not taking 'not guilty' for a verdict. 👊⚖️ I won awards for this one, if you can believe it. 🏆 youtu.be/g27Xc1oTAXc
positive · AI labelView post →He actually wrote a sequel, "Death Sentence," because he was so unhappy with the movie adaptation. They did an even worse job of adapting that one.

positive · AI labelView post →It helps that Laurence Luckinbill's character is so odious. He played a similar character in the 1974 TV movie DEATH SENTENCE with Cloris Leachman and Nick Nolte.
neutral · AI labelView post →I feel this is what the kids might call “certainly a choice”. *Technically my favourite KB film is Jane Campion’s In the Cut (2003) but Death Sentence is my favourite performance of his.

neutral · AI labelView post →The funny thing is that you can easily make a vigilante film where the main focus of the 'bad guys' is neither race, nor country of origin. Look at Death Sentence and The Brave One. msn.com/en-us/movies...
neutral · AI labelView post →Blu-ray Delivery! 💿 Not seen any of these except for Death Sentence about 20 years back. Super keen for The Island of Dr. Moreau! #movies #moviesky #film #filmsky
neutral · AI labelView post →It's funny, though, speaking of fathers and sons, because me and John Goodman played father and son, like, five or six years ago in the film 'Death Sentence,' and I got back with him again in 'Inside Llewyn Davis.' Garrett Hedlund

The novel also produced a own film in 2007 (starring Kevin Bacon). However, the commercial success … 9/10

neutral · AI labelView post →I fucking HATE Death Wish, I think it contributed to a lot of bad shit, but I'm actually kind of fond of the largely panned Death Sentence, the Kevin Bacon movie that's a more faithful adaptation of the original novel. He wasn't supposed to look like a hero either.
