Death Becomes Her
Madeline is married to Ernest, who was once her arch-rival Helen's fiancé. After recovering from a mental breakdown, Helen vows to kill Madeline and steal back Ernest. Unfortunately for everyone, the introduction of a magic potion causes things to be a great deal more complicated than a mere murder plot. From TMDB

The cast commits fully to the heightened tone, and the film delivers on its concept with style. The effects and production design hold up well, and the joy of these performances carries it every time. Now, a warning

unlabelledView post →Death Becomes Her. If Shelley Duvall gives the greatest physical rubber-hose-animation performance in film, then Bruce in Death Becomes Her might be the best animated cartoon character-at-the-end-of-his-rope ala Tex Avery/Frank Tashlin/Bob Clampett performance from a man I've ever seen.
