neutral · AI labelView post →Wilson Fisk's breakfast in the first episode of the new Daredevil is a couple of egg whites with no sauce and a single blade of asparagus, which to Disney's credit is the most subtle way I can remember a show visually imparting the message "this character is a serial killer"

neutral · AI labelView post →PSA: Daredevil: Born Again is excellent. Frankly they could do a series that’s just Charlie Cox & Vincent Donofrio having a conversation at a diner for an hour & I’d be onboard. (“My Dinner with Kingpin,” coming soon to Disney+ & Criterion.)
positive · AI labelView post →It actually happened! At long last I own Daredevil #1 and have completed my collection of the series!!!
neutral · AI labelView post →M’kay. Did not expect a Ms. Marvel connection with the Daredevil show. Though come to think of it, a Kamala and Matt team up in general sounds fun. #daredevil #daredevilbornagain

neutral · AI labelView post →I'm loyal to nothing general-- except the dream,” from Daredevil #233 is one of the hardest lines Frank Miller ever wrote and Captain America ever said. That better show up in a movie one day.
neutral · AI labelView post →I didn't really enjoy Daredevil on Netflix, and it's not like Marvel is at a creative high point at the moment. But somehow it turns out the new series is bloody brilliant.
positive · AI labelView post →Wonder Man is a pretty great show. Still have a lot to watch but so far it's more like Barry or The Studio than Daredevil or Loki, which is kinda cool.
neutral · AI labelView post →Vincent D'Onofrio explains how he and Charlie Cox have always had a level of creative control over ‘DAREDEVIL’. “We’ve been stewards of the show since Netflix... we’ve always been involved, especially with ‘Born Again’, collaborating with everybody. Nothing has changed.”
neutral · AI labelView post →If you've never seen it, try to watch Netflix's Daredevil series (2015-2018). The themes explored--particularly in the final episodes of season 3--couldn't be more resonant today. And by "today" I mean Jan 20 2025. www.imdb.com/title/tt3322...

neutral · AI labelView post →This is why the Netflix series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Punisher) were so good, very clearly showing that this would be very frustrating and the cleanup would obviously become vulnerable to corruption

neutral · AI labelView post →I’ve been asked by a few people now if they should watch Daredevil before Born Again. Yes. It’s probably the best superhero tv show ever made, and season 3 is a masterclass.
positive · AI labelView post →Started watching the original "Daredevil" series for background on the new series. I've never seen a so-called superhero get the shit beat out of him in EVERY episode.

neutral · AI labelView post →Like for example Daredevil: Born Again reportedly cost $200 million for 9 episodes Daredevil, the original Netflix show, had a budget of $56 million per season of 13 episodes There is just no possible good reason it costs $150 million more to make less TV 10 years later
neutral · AI labelView post →Frank Miller and Klaus Janson covered Daredevil 172 (1981). This DD show is some good TV watchin’!
positive · AI labelView post →Written by Frank Miller, the comics genius whose run on Daredevil and two Batman limited series, “The Dark Knight Returns” and “Year One,” revolutionized the genre. His talents did not readily translate to film.

positive · AI labelView post →Rewatching the Netflix Daredevil series to get caught back up for the new show, and I'm such a mark for Vincent D'Onofrio. What an absolutely amazing character actor. The show is great, but without him as Fisk, it wouldn't have been as good.
neutral · AI labelView post →Vincent D'Onofrio on ‘DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN’ ending with Season 3: “We so enjoyed bringing [the show] to you all. You stuck with us and I like to think we stuck with you … Much love to all who have been supportive. I love that character Fisk. Always will. Off to another neck off the woods.”
