Like, the original Cube is still the best, but frankly given the problems with Cube 2 and Cube 0, this is easily the best film since the original. Hell, arguably it's BARELY a...

unlabelledView post →39) Backrooms - i liked it. this movie is kinda like As Above So Below for people whos Saw was Cube 2 Hypercube
unlabelledView post →Backdoors: fairly enjoyable movie, neat Control vibes. Cube: a bit annoying, but mostly ok for what it is. Cube 2: what if you grabbed the Mac OS X palette and made it a deeply insufferable movie
unlabelledView post →I wrote about Teenage Sex and Death, Cube 2: Hypercube, and Twilight Zone: The Movie to think about millenial media consumption habits. Contains an explication of why I found that one scene with that one song so moving and fun. alexsthompson.com/bce/an-omniv...
unlabelledView post →I preferred the first Cube movie (minus the slurs), but I did appreciate the mystery and worldbuilding that happened in Cube 2. Lots of room to speculate.
unlabelledView post →Every Saw movie is just Cube 2: Hypercube?!
unlabelledView post →Hell yeah! Cube rocks! Not as underappreciated now as it was during its release, but a fun suspenseful film nonetheless. Though I hate to admit it, I like Cube 2 better, mostly for it's bat-shit insane climax, and its nonsensical application of a hypercube.

unlabelledView post →Cube is my favourite cube-based movie, and Cube 2 is my favourite hypercube-based movie. Cube Zero is unfortunately my least favourite cube-based movie, but incidentally it's also my second favourite cube-based movie. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
unlabelledView post →(31/54) 22. Cube 2: Hypercube (2002) The second film has a lot more liminal vibes than the first film due to the increased "psychedelic unreality" surreality of the movie, alongside the more "pristine" aesthetic. Whole film permeates an unsafe sterile feeling with strange imagery
unlabelledView post →Cube = Great movie Cube 2: Hypercube = Disappointing Cube Zero = The most bat shit fun you could possibly have. Cartoonish on the level of Germlins 2.
unlabelledView post →the best movie title is Cube 2: Hypercube
unlabelledView post →I love the movie Cube. I recently watched Cube 2: Hypercube, and it was hilariously stupid. Now I'm watching Cube Zero. I like the industrial cube look.
unlabelledView post →Oh great, now Silent Hill 2 has turned into Canadian cult classic film Cube 2: Hypercube.
unlabelledView post →Like a couple characters said in the film, “keep your head down, keep it simple”. Honestly, explaining anything, even who was behind it was a mistake. Cube 2 I haven’t seen as much because they revealed a bit too much. I don’t have to explain why the prequel is awful. Natali was a genius.
unlabelledView post →If you are referring to Cube 2: Hypercube, then you may be shocked to hear that I have actually seen that movie
unlabelledView post →Does anyone know where we can find the original proposal script for #Cube 2? We read about it being better than the final film, but we can only find what appear to be clumsy transcripts of the finished film? (They don't have stage directions or speaker names)
unlabelledView post →I will never forget the experience i had watching this film. It ends with a bright light, and then the streaming service had the "playing next" pop up so we had fade to white into the title "Cube 2: Hypercube" and the group i was with just fucking lost it
unlabelledView post →sometimes I like watching bad films with friends for the MST3K factor but I absolutely cannot recommend Cube 2 to anyone...it's just a dull nothingburger of a film with nothing to really latch on to 🙃

unlabelledView post →I've since rewatched Cube 2: Hypercube, and feels even sillier than the first movie, but a really fun watch, and the direction of it really appeals to me. I've not rewatched Cube Zero in a LONG time so I can't vouch for it, I remember it being closer in tone to Cube 1 and okay, if cheesy by the end.
unlabelledView post →Not at you but these people are the worst, because a lot of great directors use continuity deliberately to make an incoherent film, like Cube 2, large chunks of chronenbeeg
unlabelledView post →My rating also belies my similar opinion that there ARE interesting things about/within “Cube 2” that, in a better executed film, could have made for a better movie than the one we got. But alas, it wasn’t meant to be… 😁 boxd.it/9dIOwX

unlabelledView post →I’m a big longtime fan of Cube, actually really enjoy Cube 2, and didn’t hate Cube 0. I’ve seen many an english language remake of an asian film, but I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve seen the reverse. If I like this I’m sure it will end up in the collection. #physicalmediacollector
unlabelledView post →3. Cube 2: Hypercube (2002) Probably the most aggressively 2002 movie (derogatory) i've ever seen. Its set design is much more bland and uninspired, the special effects are hoaky, and the acting and story just pale in comparison to the first. Also the editing/camera work nearly made me nauseous
unlabelledView post →Oh I spent a year doing vfx for movies as Jr 3D artist before I got into games. Mostly worked on this, Cube 2 Hypercube and Blizzard (a Christmas film with live action talking reindeer)
unlabelledView post →@laurahudson.bsky.social i legitimately like Cube, which is a neat little low-budget Kafkaesque scifi/horror. the premise outweighs its faults. as for Cube 2: Hypercube and Cube Zero, i can say that they are movies that i have seen. (how they didn't call it Cube³ remains a mystery)

unlabelledView post →Spooky Season Movie 7: Cube 2: Hypercube Despite its much lower budget and less interesting visuals, this movie does some pretty interesting stuff. It's not good or awfully entertaining, but it's still manages to be compelling. It's an odd one and I'm glad I watched it.

Its the same exact movie..A chamber drama in a torture device, high concept math based plot, sticks the landing, surely you see now and wil
unlabelledView post →Cube 2: Hypercube a real waste of a sequel title. This is a SciFi/SyFy channel tv type movie.
unlabelledView post →The concept of watching Cube 2: Hypercube before Man with a Movie Camera, love making questionable life choices 😌
unlabelledView post →The fact that they're calling it a hypersquare (no, dafty, that's a rectangle) just makes me think of Cube 2: Hypercube. A film that everyone should be exposed to at least once in their life, just so they understand that 'yes, this is such a thing as too much cocaine'.
unlabelledView post →YellowBrickRoad (2010) This is such a Cube 2: Hypercube movie. I shouldn't have let a bunch of Horror YouTubers making videos on this, influence me into continuing past the point of getting bored with it, there was nothing for *ME* at the end of the RegularForestRoad

So, decided to watch an episode and movie, respectively, about liminal spaces: 'American Horror Stories' "Backrooms" and 'Cube 2: Hypercube'.
