(These are sample palettes, this isn't Power Rangers Tactics, that game is great and already exists *cough* Chroma Squad) #ScreenshotSaturday #indiegames #gamedev
unlabelledView post →sometimes i think about how Saban sued the Chroma Squad devs for their generally toku-inspired game unless they split royalties and slapped "Inspired by Saban's Power Rangers™" under the logo on literally everything
unlabelledView post →They should make a game that’s like Chroma Squad but it uses @spicymancer.bsky.social’s actrangers (with the sex scenes between tactical mission)
unlabelledView post →Remember the time Haim Saban went after the devs of Chroma Squad, despite them specifically citing Super Sentai as inspiration, and now the game has "Inspired by Saban's Power Rangers" on the title screen? I do.
unlabelledView post →I love that Brazilian game devs are so culturally bound to tokusatsu that they're arguably the only other territory committed to representing them in video games. I am terribly jealous, even. Changer Seven looks neat. (Lemme also say we need more Chroma Squad in the world.)
unlabelledView post →Just finished Chroma Squad. Overall a fun game that's a great love letter to Super Sentai, Power Rangers, and tokusatsu. Although that final episode was a pretty big jump in difficulty and the first playthrough ending left more to be desired
unlabelledView post →Addendum: these critiques were in the air even prior to all of this years ago, if curious, look up the indie game Chroma Squad.
unlabelledView post →Trying a new game today by a indie dev team in Brazil! Playing Chroma Squad~ twitch.tv/serahbear
unlabelledView post →Wow! 500 new followers since yesterday. Welcome everyone! Tell us what game we did you like the most? Chroma Squad, Knights of Pen and Paper, Out of Space, Cosplay Club? \o/
unlabelledView post →shit, can someone finally take the "best non-Japanese fake sentai/tokusatsu hero game" crown from Chroma Squad after 10 years and a regional delisting on top
unlabelledView post →Played through season 1 of Chroma Squad tonight. Extremely fun indie game, and a great tribute to Power Rangers! Had us really enjoying ourselves, but there were definitely a few moments that got us laughing really, really hard. They should never have given us the power to customize our lines. 🤣
unlabelledView post →If you're at all a fan of Super Sentai/Power Rangers aesthetic, and enjoy turn based tactical rpgs, then Chroma Squad is a game you should check out! You make your own show of a group of 'rangers', naming them, color coordinating them, and picking what actors take their spots! Love letter to toku!
unlabelledView post →For one, Haim Saban himself forced Chroma Squad (a game inspired by Super Sentai) to say "Inspired by Saban's Power Rangers". For another, the writing staff of Digimon did not like Davis (02's protagonist) so they amped up his annoying tendencies
unlabelledView post →Gonna spend the evening tonight by going through the backlog and playing some Chroma Squad, that tactics-based tokusatsu game that came out a decade ago (I feel old). It was at the top of the list for awhile so I gotta do it now. Come hang out! twitch.tv/hikarisentinel #vtuber #vsky #envtuber
unlabelledView post →💀STREAM TIME💀 HAHA I LIED IT'S MORE DEATH STRANDING 2 We were gonna continue Chroma Squad tonight, but I am utterly enthralled by this game, so I'm playin' more of it! #VTuber #ENVTuber www.twitch.tv/skytorisuna

I got: -Slice & Dice -Jimmy & The Pulsating Mass -The Hole -Animalistic Worlds -Rogue (Yes the original game) -Rift Wizard -SKALD -One Deck Dungeon -Chrono Trigger -Doom & Destiny -Chroma Squad -Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition
unlabelledView post →Chroma Squad This one is so weird and I love it for that. It's basically a tactical RPG but filtered through Tokusatsu. And I mean actual Tokusatsu. Like your characters are actors and the battles are you action scenes for your low budget TV show. It's amazing. www.nintendo.com/us/store/pro...
unlabelledView post →You know, that'd be an interesting stylistic choice to make a game where it was really obvious that characters were wearing costumes. Possibly something in the vein of Chroma Squad?
unlabelledView post →(Why yes I am intentionally only posting niche games) Chroma Squad: Do you like power rangers? Do you like sentai? Do you like GORGEOUS pixel art? Do you like grid and turn based rpgs? Then you should give this game a try! It took several twists and turns I wasn't expecting.
unlabelledView post →I am always banging on more people to play Chroma Squad, a fun little game about running your own Tokusatsu show. I would also recommend In Stars and Time, Small Saga, or FF9.
unlabelledView post →twitch.tv/kat_lynx Alright guys, new game! Feelin' a little Tokusatsu so its time got Indie Sentai Chroma Squad!
unlabelledView post →Chroma Squad is a Brazilian Indie game which mixes the tactics of XCOM with love for the Sentai genre. 5 stuntfolk deciding to shoot their own Power Rangers inspired series, but have to do so on a budget…cue meta commentary, constant scheduling conflicts, and roll the one camera!
unlabelledView post →man CHROMA SQUAD is absolutely goated, love that game! tile-based, turn-based, sentai squad tactics action!! store.steampowered.com/app/251130/C... and 8-COLORS STAR GUARDIANS+ is like, same vibe but less tile-based!! plus way gayer! store.steampowered.com/app/2483150/... fight kaiju! get powers!
unlabelledView post →Square Enix had to straight up alter a Sentai inspired DLC because Saban was like "Nuh-uh looks too much like Power Rangers" And Chroma Squad had to be strong armed into putting his fucking name into their game after a lawsuit threat.
unlabelledView post →BUY CHROMA SQUAD TOO, THE DEVS OF THIS GAME WERE FROM MY CITY (were bc they all moved 😔 rip indie warehouse, you will forever be missed)
unlabelledView post →www.twitch.tv/thechoujinvi... Hey everyone, #PNGtuber here. We're on the final run of Chroma Squad for the last ending of the game. Hope you're ready for some more fun cuz we may be on the last leg of the game soon
unlabelledView post →www.twitch.tv/thechoujinvi... Hey everyone, #PNGtuber bird here for another episode of Chroma Squad. We need to deal with some more difficult threats so lets continue our Reboot New Game+
unlabelledView post →First Stream: April 7th! First Game: Chroma Squad! It's a Tactical RPG and it's Power Rangers. It's basically the perfect first game for me.
unlabelledView post →14 - Chroma Squad Now this game I did play it for like an hour 5 years ago. Reason why I was discouraged was that after the tutorial, you can customized the actors playing your sentai heroes... I thought the characters were all predetermined not self made ;_; I'll finish it one day!
unlabelledView post →Chroma Squad is a 10/10 game and so much fun
unlabelledView post →So finished Chroma Squad, onto the next game in the library and now I'm going to maybe finish Lost In Random (I got to Two-Town before other games over took it), and I forgot how much fun and odd it is. Just fun art style, and that sort of Addams-Gorey-esque style.
unlabelledView post →Finished Chroma Squad and I have a few thoughts. 1.Excellent game, and the fact you can change difficulty as you play is the only reason I was able to get through the last fights. 2.Excellent New Game+ because you keep everything you have when you beat the game, and enemies drop upgraded materials.
unlabelledView post →Another post to add: I'm surprised that other games weren't able to take that award from Chroma Squad. I also need to replay the game after they rebalanced some things along with redoing the mechanics for the giant robot fights.
unlabelledView post →Started playing Chroma Squad and I’m obsessed with it. I don’t even watch tokusatsu shows but I’m in love with the game.
unlabelledView post →I still haven't gotten to it myself but CHROMA SQUAD! Tactical RPG/management sim style game IIRC
unlabelledView post →I had similar feelings about the game "Chroma Squad" when I thought it was going to be a game about MAKING Power Rangers, rather than that mostly being a framing device for you playing Power Rangers.
unlabelledView post →@janochoa.bsky.social Hey Jan. You mentioned your love for power rangers on the bombast when talking about that TMNT game. You should check out Chroma Squad Tactical RPG.
unlabelledView post →Thing I like 1: Power Rangers Thing I like 2: Tactical RPGs When they combine into a full Zord of an amazing looking game, I'm *IN* Chroma Squad! Go! youtube.com/live/gc7shs3...
unlabelledView post →store.steampowered.com/app/1172180/... I've heard pretty okay things about this game! It's done by the same team that made Chroma Squad, a game where you make a team of Power Rangers and do tactical battles against monsters of the week! - ⚡️
unlabelledView post →Let's start in this game inspired by Japanese superhero shows, AND NOTHING ELSE. It's Henshin Hour - Chroma Squad Part 1 www.twitch.tv/mateo361
unlabelledView post →30! Chroma Squad! A little RTS game where you build your own Super Sentai Squad, that some how didn't bug the people in Japan but had Saban sue them into putting 'Inspired by power rangers' but whatever. I love the game, and it's cute and fun. Make your own team and wreck the competition!
unlabelledView post →Besides that and stuff I feel you have played (Bug Fables, ISAT) uh. If we stretch to talk about SRPGs Chroma Squad is a good time and Banner of Maid was an interesting (if flawed) little SRPG romp. Chrono ARK is an interesting game in that it's an gacha game without being a gacha game.
unlabelledView post →0:11 - is so familiar, yet I cant add a name to it. Now I wont sleep tonight, thank you. Chroma Squad, Ninja Turtles game, no. I just cant. :( and 0:18 the same, so familiar - JPRG, Final Fantasy or Pokemon? No idea, I am a computer child ;)
unlabelledView post →I'm not very fond of TBRPG but I enjoyed Chroma Squad. it could be due to the fact that I absolutely love power Rangers and managing in games though, but hey those two things really made the game great!
unlabelledView post →#10: Chroma Squad Until some company gets off their ass and gives us an asym multiplayer game with 3-5 players as Rangers versus 1 as a monster this stands head and shoulders above any other actually-licensed PR/Sentai game as my favorite game about those kinds of teams
unlabelledView post →Chroma Squad in the corner: You think you have it bad? Nobody even remembers me. Both of them: Who are you? Chroma Squad: An indie game that was supposed to be inspired by your show, Geki. But Haim stepped in and said "No, this was inspired by Power Rangers, not Sentai" As if he was Harmony Gold
unlabelledView post →Oh I loved Scarlet/Violet! It was actually pretty challenging for a pokémon game! I just finished playing Bramble: The Mountain King and TLOZ: Wind Waker! Now I'm playing Chroma Squad and I'm about to start the original Tomb Raider!
unlabelledView post →GAME 2: CHROMA SQUAD A BRAZILIAN TACTICAL RPG! It's a CRIME that I have this game and have never played it. Ugh.
unlabelledView post →From a Sentai fan point of view, have you tried Chroma Squad? It is a very sentai-focused turn-based strategy game, and this is a terrible description of its grandeur.

unlabelledView post →Scrolled through my most recent Steam games and I really enjoyed these. Weirdly, the website listed the OST for Chroma Squad but not the game itself.
unlabelledView post →www.twitch.tv/thechoujinvi... Hey everyone, #PNGtuber Streamer here. Today's the last playthrough of Chroma Squad and the finale of the final path of the game. If we do beat the game early, we'll fill it in with some Helldivers 2 (and friends)
unlabelledView post →Post Stream: Looks like Thursday will be our finale for Chroma Squad, which means I'll have to pick a new game comming up soon
unlabelledView post →www.twitch.tv/thechoujinvi... Hey everyone, #PNGtuber captain here. IT's time for a new game after Undertale. It's time for Chroma Squad! So let's go recruit a group of disgruntled adults with attitude!
unlabelledView post →Yeah, it was unfortunately Saban who was more mad at Chroma Squad than Toei was at the time. Still, wild this is even a thing in this game in the year 2026.
unlabelledView post →45) Chroma Squad: A turn based strategy / management game, where you play a team of stunt actors trying to start their own super sentai show. Each stage is an 'episode' where you try to hit certain goals/stunts for audience/pay. Includes giant mech segments and multiple story paths.
unlabelledView post →I really like SRPGs so Chroma Squad is kind of a peak game for me (even if the writing isn't super strong because it's a meta parody and not an actual story). I kinda need more toku inspired SRPGs actually
unlabelledView post →I think the best sentai game I've played is Chroma Squad There just aren't very many, especially on pc. Need to get Rita's revenge at some point.
unlabelledView post →I still love how the sentai-inspired indie game "Chroma Squad" had to include a disclaimer that it was inspired by Power Rangers because Saban threatened legal action, and the devs retaliated by creating a Saban analogue in the game who was a dictatorial director allied with Satan.
