Christopher Robin
Christopher Robin, the boy who had countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood, has grown up and lost his way. Now it’s up to his spirited and loveable stuffed animals, Winnie The Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and the rest of the gang, to rekindle their friendship and remind him of endless days of childlike wonder and make-believe, when doing nothing was the very best something. And it's not particularly antifa either) Also, Dr Dawson isn't from the Aristocats. He's from Great Mouse Detective, and didn't say the line there either.

unlabelledView post →Honestly, this and that Tiana film Colman Domingo is producing reminds me of that Christopher Robin movie made in 2018. Not a remake, but rather a new adventure for the characters, just in live-action.
unlabelledView post →I feel quite happy because I finally watched a Winnie the Pooh movie (The Search for Christopher Robin specifically) after God knows how long, probably since before 4th grade
unlabelledView post →Winnie The Pooh started boiling honey and injecting it directly into his veins. Now he makes Piglet turn tricks. This pays for Pooh's honey habit. Disney is making this into an animated movie. Christopher Robin is murdered in the first scene.
unlabelledView post →Based on @theselectfyrd.bsky.social’s recommendation (”something in his eye”), and as the serf fancies herself as a middle-aged Christopher Robin, we will be watching this film this evening. www.imdb.com/title/tt1653...
unlabelledView post →Christopher Robin the movie takes place after Disney's Pooh movie and TV series where Christopher Robin now an adult has a tough time between work and home and one day Winnie the Pooh takes Robin (Ewan McGregor) back to the Hundred Acre Wood to re-live his childhood while his family searches for him
unlabelledView post →On August 3, 2018, ‘Christopher Robin’ was released in theaters by Disney. The story follows Christopher Robin from the Winnie the Pooh series as an adult living in London, who has lost his sparkle. He is unexpectedly reunited with his childhood friend, Pooh who helps him find himself again. 🍯

Now I am genuinely curious to see where this goes...
unlabelledView post →I still marvel at the ingenuity of humans. Winnie the Pooh goes open season, and the first thing someone does is make a movie where Pooh bear is a serial murderer who, after he's abandoned by Christopher Robin, kills AND EATS EYEORE.
unlabelledView post →Oh, then you didn't see Jeremy in his truck LOSING HIS FUCKING SHIT because of that film Christopher Robin. You know, the one with Christopher Robin all grown up and neglecting his family for work?

unlabelledView post →Reminds me of when the trailer for the movie "Christopher Robin" came out and used part of the song "Follow the Sun" by the band "The Lighthouse and the Whalers"... which appears to have never been released. Like, ever.
unlabelledView post →Winnie the Pooh 2011 is the first Pooh film since the original to be made by the main Disney studio and feels like a remake/sequel to it- as Pooh and his friends believe Christopher Robin has been kidnapped by a monster they call the Backson. Once again has that classic comfort and charm of Pooh.
unlabelledView post →The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was based off three short films of the honey-loving Pooh Bear and the shorts were stitched together to make a feature film with Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and Christopher Robin, etc. in their first movie. Its a fair adaptation of the books by A.A. Milne.
unlabelledView post →You know Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin? My brother adored that movie and kept insisting we watch when it was his turn to pick despite knowing Owl's song scared the crap out me m.youtube.com/watch?v=e_BG...
unlabelledView post →I have yet to watch Christopher Robin (the film itself), but it got me thinking: what if Evelyn could've been a character in the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh series? I mean, while the eps take place in the Hundred Acre Wood, there were a few other times where Pooh and his friends visit
unlabelledView post →i was a regular at a movie theater 2018-2019 - every tuesday afternoon i'd get a $5 ticket and a $6 popcorn/cherry pepsi combo and watch Tag or Christopher Robin or Long Shot, often as the only person in the theater. it was a lot of fun at an otherwise miserable time
unlabelledView post →Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey: An indie horror film where a feral and vengeful Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet go on a killing spree after Christopher Robin abandons them to attend college. They murder his friends, and Christopher Robin later returns to the Hundred Acre Wood to confront them.
unlabelledView post →You're being intentionally obtuse. They hadn't even started their live-action remakes at that point. There were no animated films of Christopher Robin growing up made by Disney, so it wasn't a remake itself. And he was a grown man losing his shit over a fucking Winnie the Pooh movie.

unlabelledView post →This is literally the moment I thought of when I heard today was the day XD Don't care what some folks say about it being too sad and dark for a Winnie the Pooh movie, The Search for Christopher Robin is a classic ❤️
unlabelledView post →I hope the upcoming Thomas and Friends movie directed by Marc Forester is good. I trust him as a director since Christopher Robin was a good movie and he seems to be passionate enough to contribute ideas to a story he can familiarize himself with.
unlabelledView post →Mmm, fascinating. They are airing the 2017 movie Goodbye Christopher Robin, and I switched the track to the Italian dub for a sec and they use the English names of the characters (Tigger, Piglett, Eeyore) etc etc I never considered that ... Are the "Italian" names owned by Disney...
unlabelledView post →I think that Christopher Robin... if that counts is the only good film of the bunch tbh. I actually loved it. It's very well directed and really emotionally resonant. Everything else? lol.

unlabelledView post →Y'know, it's interesting how the tree with a door on it is called Christopher Robin's house, but it looks more like a closet, and the Christopher Robin movie later reveals that it's the gateway between the 100 Acre Wood and the real world. Kind of a crazy thing, when you think about it.

unlabelledView post →This movie starts with a text scrawl about how the animals of Hundred Acre Wood went feral after Christopher Robin left, then proceeds to show them wearing clothes & shoes, using power tools, and driving. They’re just hillbilly slasher tropes with animal heads.
unlabelledView post →The best way to execute this is for the movie kid to be a new character with the book kid as the parent. Movie kid and creature get to know each other fresh. The kid (and the child audience) are surprised when Pooh and Dad Christopher Robin know each other already, while the parents are expecting it
unlabelledView post →the second thing that bothers me about Christopher Robin (2018) is that, objectively, what's happening in the movie is all happening
unlabelledView post →I’m not sure what to think about this. The original series had a very simple formula and the plot that they’re describing does sound pretty generic, but who knows, it might be a charming movie similar to Paddington or Christopher Robin.
unlabelledView post →WHAT?!!! The fact this film will be set in "Modern Britain" is a huge red flag for me. Best case scenario, it ends being similar to Christopher Robin with how the characters are animated and handled. But how are you going to make Bagpuss into a film? www.theguardian.com/film/2025/se...

unlabelledView post →1. Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin (1997) I barely remember watching this movie from my childhood, and as cute and wholesome as it is the pacing is pretty bad. I still loved the characters and animation despite it being very simple. 7/10
unlabelledView post →To bring in another example of a good live-action Disney movie, I loved Christopher Robin. Because it wasn't a remake, but a sequel to all the other Winnie-the-Pooh movies that happened before. And it made sense for the movie to me LA since it was about an older Christopher Robin facing reality.

unlabelledView post →Christopher Robin (Rewatch): 10/10 Okay this movie isn't perfect but for what it is it is one of the most wholesome movies I've ever seen. It is so cute and reminds you of the whimsy and joy of childhood. The resolution to the main conflict is everyone getting paid vacation. I love it

unlabelledView post →I love your artwork for the Christopher Robin one cause that one took me by surprise and made me respect the director and everyone on that film for not only doing what I call a continuation of what if Christopher Robin got to grow up in his timeline but also return back to our loveable Pooh Boy. :)
