It made me have to restart the game a couple of times which was a little frustrating. To me it's unplayable. But when it gets fixed it'll be good. ^ written in october v update in december game is STILL broken and unplayable. Wish I'd gotten a refund. Really fun concept…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the perfect combination of simple yet challenging. The graphics are cute, the sound effects are satisfying and it's fun to play. Just stressfull enough to be relaxing and a great way to wind down at the end of the day.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you played Project Highrise you have already have a good idea what this game is about. I loved Project Highrise. Same same this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love that you just plop all types of rooms and very relaxing to manage for the first 3 campaigns. However it gets really frustrating when you can't check in guests when there is no parking, you have no money to upgrade, you can't borrow money, you can't see most of the guests' stay days when they keep blinking for laundry and sauna, you can't speed up their request because back to having no money!!!! It's a chicken and egg situation - when you can't accommodate as you have no funds to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Many reviews compared this favorably to SimTower, which was a simple game - but one I was obsessed with. Alas, this does not scratch the SimTower itch at all. Reviews comparing it to Tetris are getting closer, though it's also not that. It doesn't feel like a hotel management game, either. What we've got is a unique little puzzle game with with a hotel theme. I think it's really clever. I'm not sure I love it, but it's diverting and polished. I do recommend it. I'm just not sure who I recommend…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game. Hotel building with time/money/employee management. Campaign mode can be challenging, love a challenge. Definitely worth the 6 bucks I paid for it on sale. It's one of those games that you'll play through multiple times and still enjoy. I only wish they'd give us more cities!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm enjoying this game I've also enjoyed their other game fly corp. I would love to see some UI improvement mainly with how meany of each room (unoccupied/total room count) and how long until the soonest checkout longest checkout and avg checkout times. So I have a better idea what types of rooms I need to build, its really nice the expected room types for the next day as a % but without the information that I'm asking for theirs nothing to do with that type of information. You can get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically what happens if SimTower and Tetris had a baby.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the game. Easy to lose yourself in it for hours. One problem is a few bugs like the staff being frozen for no reason and having to restart the game, rooms showing as one price but actually costing way more (sucks when you are in a tight spot). Overall great game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun hotel management (building simulation) game, similar to SimTower and [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/423580/Project_Highrise/]Project Highrise. It offers a unique twist on the genre by incorporating Tetris-like puzzle elements into room placement. Gameplay: Hotel Management: You start with a small, basic hotel and aim to expand it into a successful chain across various cities. This involves building rooms, checking in guests, managing staff (maids, porters, managers), upgrading…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR - build rooms Tetris style and drag guests over and over again The demo is fun and indicative of the game play. However, after 4 or 5 maps, it becomes very repetitive and a slog. I quit because I was very bored of dragging guests over and over as they slowly show up, even with the game on the fastest speed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually can´t be bothered to click and drag every customer to a place... just let them auto-move-in or at least let me right click them to auto move... what is this, a 1990´s browser game?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Check Inn is a surprisingly deep hotel management with a clever Tetris-style building mechanic. I have played it for 13 hours, and it is calm, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding in the evening. Managing guest demands, optimizing space, and keeping everything running smoothly is both challenging and satisfying. I recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute little game. I really like it. I would like though to have more width for the buildings and also to have more difficulty settings.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Repetitive design, same moves, screen is small. Just was not for me, Thanks
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a fun game to pass the time with. like most people have said, it's mostly a tetris-style puzzle game, which sometimes can make building enough of a certain shape room a bit difficult, but it's not so annoying that it makes you not want to play... but please, i'm BEGGING, add a way to upgrade the exterminators!!! other than that, banger game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Pros: This game is quite fun, with a calm progression for casual players. As you get more comfortable, the speed up and slow down arrows are a regular use. There is just enough advancement at a slower learning pace that a gamer who wants to like real time strategy, but is not fast enough to be good at RTS, can be great at this game. The upgrades are just enough to make you want to continue, however i'd love to see a prestige option and more hotel tech as the game advances and a harder…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredibly addictive game 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Wish there were more campaigns and more challenges. Not a fan of open play since I am more quest oriented. I got it on sale and would recommend getting it then. I like how money is actually valuable. More campaigns please!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually really liked this game a lot! I played the demo and after finishing the available levels immediately went to the store to buy the full game. I like how it's basically one big puzzle, but also a management game. Actually, it kind of reminds me of the feature in diner dash where you color sorted people into their seats! It's a cute little strategy game that doesn't shoot up your stress levels too much, and doesn't make me bored - and I really appreciate the fact that you can choose to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game, but it does get a bit boring even though the maps and cities change. It's IMPOSSIBLE in some cities to get an extra elevator and an extra bellboy, specially in Vancouver when you have to spend $500+ on heating and then a guest checks in and pays $20, it just doesn't make sense sometimes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved this game until the last level (Chihuahua). It was so frustrating to learn the mechanics and create strategies to then play the level where extermination ruined the game. It was so insanely annoying to wait for the slow animation time of the exterminators cleaning a room. Also, it seemed that almost 80% of the rooms were infected by bugs and I couldn't make any progress. There was no way to upgrade the exterminators and the only way to marginally speed up the process was to purchase…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a pleasure to play this is! The graphics and the little animations, the music... It's so right. It's easy (for now?), yes, but it's so fun to play and they are not lying, it's indeed very addictive as I constantly wanted to do 'just one more city'. The variety in features is very nice too: different available room shapes, freezing cold, multiple hotels, pests... I only still have to do the free difficult level and then it's looking forward to the new levels which are already in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended for neurospicy people with light/bright color sensitivity. We've asked the devs months ago to add option to remove the bright red line at the bottom at the screen that follows you as you scroll up and it's still always there. I can't play for more than 15-20min without having to take a break.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the premise of the game, but the low income and high loss from deleting a room makes this game wholly unenjoyable if you have OCD. I really thought this was going to be a 'chill hotel time management game'. What I got was an exercise in frustration and certainly not a wind down game. Never the less, based on the reviews, there are many who enjoy the game, so I'm just not the target demographic. So that's the only reason I'm posting this negative review, in case you're 'not' the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game. I've been playing non-stop since I purchased it. It's the perfect blend of difficulty and cozy, in my opinion!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like time management games and Fallout Shelter. This is the one for you
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an interesting game. Its like tetris with hotel management
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so relaxing and addictive. It's nice for when you want to unwind at the end of the day but don't want to think too much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I stumbled over this game by chance and am glad I did so! Very entertaining and creative. The concept is quite simple but the game has some quirks so it doesn't get boring (except for the very last bit). Basically you build your hotel, assign rooms to guests and make sure services are provided on time. There is no in-depth business simulation aspect or anything like that, it's really mainly build, assign, make some improvements. One of the nice quirks is that rooms come in different shapes and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Winter/Cold levels are the most infuriating levels (why are there THREE cold levels that require you to insult your rooms for more than you paid to build the room?!). Secondly - The exterminators are dumb. They take double the time it would take for a maid to "cleanse" the room AND there's no way to know WHY they're needed. Also, how many do I need? 2? 4? 8?!?! I had 4 of them in a 12 floor hotel and it STILL wasn't enough. And to make matters worse - occasionally, on Chihuahuah, the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great fun time-killer, very addictive. worth it's price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good enough game that could easily become a great game with some better programming. The campaign mode is fun with interesting mechanics spaced out to keep you on your toes. The game falls a bit short in it's "quick play" mode however due to what seems to be poor prioritization and the inability to set your own priorities. It can be very frustrating to have 25% of your rooms waiting on food that it just sitting there with near max porters whom refuse to run food. My guess is that at the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game, great as a palate cleanser between big story-based games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is an okish game, but don't expect much of it. Instead of letting the player arrange there own dream hotel with his own ideas the game forces you to build what the developer intended. It has rooms like the Tetris pieces. The worst is when the game starts switching forth and back between two hotel locations as if they would need to keep you more busy. At that point you get forced to hire managers to do your job of putting people to their rooms and all you have left to do is building required…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this style or management game. Not too stressful for a wind down game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is tetris 5.0 :p it's a puzzle, strategy game with money management. not what I thought it was but I liked it anyways.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →after second level, a garage is required for customers, but, the garage is not available. YOU LOOSE ! I do not recommend a game that is impossible to play. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is closer to the old sims tower game then being able to decorate and running your hotel. you can really micro mange your hotel, depending on taste this could be good or bad. Beside balancing various amenities and room types, there is also how many employees you have. it goes in to decent depth, but never to far one would struggle to learn.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game however i can't seem to get past the bug level. would be great if you could upgrade them. apart from that its really fun :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cozy but yet nervwrecking game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love it. Fun/puzzle strategy game, much more involved and still early days so lots of new fun to follow. The other day someone was talking to me and I forgot to listen because I was thinking of how rooms fit together. Good sign, A+. You should get this if you like having fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun and addictive game. Reminds me of games i played when i was younger. I never write reviews, but when i notice how little reviews this awesome game have I wanted to support the developers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →met this game because of Matt from RCE. the game is quite addicted. it's a casual game where you can spend some free time to play. easy to understand and enjoy. it's an early access so i think there will be something coming after. cute animation, music is interesting tho, it's quite annoying at first but you will get addicted to it, lol highly recommend for casual player.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute art style, intuitive gameplay, and catchy music. Currently not a ton of replay value, and Free Play can stand to have modifiers to make it more varied, but as an early access product it's showing a lot of promise and I enjoyed my time getting the current list of achievements.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good fun. Gets harder as you go. A little overpriced I would say, but enjoyable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All the fun of a free PlayStore phone game. Cough... cough. No from me, dawg.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great chill game to play enjoyed it enough to review
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →kind ok BUT really unbalanced game at hard difficulty, but more importantly user input control is bad and even reset so often you think the game does not trust the user to understand what's going on
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cool and relax game. the time killer. but for the free mode is a bit too repeated. and the hard mode is a bit too hard fro me, which turns this idle game into a stressful one. apart form these, the visual is cool and nice. i would expect to have a bit more update for more city and travel related content/challenges. :) Btw, is there only me who cannot connect to the internet or it is a bug? but never mind, pretty enjoy the time playing it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this as part of a bundle with the developer's Fly Corp. I wasn't expecting much from this, but it was a pleasant surprise. The gameplay is fairly challenging and requires some solid problem-solving and planning ahead to win. Particularly enjoyed the New York level and the hard mode of freeplay. Good little game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tetris style time management game, fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, really enjoying it. It's like Tetris mixed with hotel management. Plays well on deck
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hours of Fun! Chill in Quick Play Mode, or do a Campaign for more of a challenge. It's like Tetris in a way, only better! Strategy Puzzle and Cozy Time Management/Simulation all in one, Only way this could get any better in my opinion, would be to add a Full On Sandbox mode, where all services are available, all puzzle pieces are available from every building type, Money is no object, and you can build with no penalties xD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This will not be for everyone but is definitely for me. The difficulty curve here is now really about new and interesting obstacles as much as the increase of customers and their demands but personally the set management of it all being confined to levels and not being endless is sort of meditative for me. It works for someone like me whose mind feels too full. Like if a game is just repetitive, it doesn't stick with me, but the set goal sort of makes a difference. So if you're ND and need…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple and chilled game. It's sort of like tower defence built into a hotel. Choose carefully what to upgrade to keep your guests happy. Not too much thinking involved, I wouldn't mind if it were a bit harder.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →UPDATE: I just noticed the game had its 1.1.0 release today. This means the bugs have gotten worse because of the release. My first bugs were before today, and now with the release, the game breaking bugs are worse. I was trying to 100% this game. Originally my review was going to be the following: - Game is fun enough. The campaign just barely skirts by with variation in gameplay. Fun enough for winter sale of 5.99. - The free play mode was where is started to have more fun with the floor…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I quite liked the game. Very basic, but easy to understand. Gets the brain going when needing to place awkward shapes. It pleasantly surprised me how much I enjoyed it. 7.5/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is good. But I lost my saves due to power shortage.
