Glimmer Man?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? The Long Kiss Goodnight?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
unlabelledView post →Absolutely. I think if you tried to make a movie like Chain Reaction right now, you would NEVER be able to find a distributor. A film where a PhD student discovers cold-fusion and then has the discovery stolen by a cabal of corporate and government interests who want to take it to market? Hell no.
unlabelledView post →SLOPWATCH tonight is CHAIN REACTION, a film about fusion power that is about thirty years old, which is appropriate given that fusion power is always thirty years away
unlabelledView post →I've never seen Chain Reaction, but there's a part in the trailer when Keanu Reeves is in the snow and Rachel Weisz (sheesh, I should see this movie) yells what are you doing, and Keanu lowers his coat which was covering his mouth and yells, "the best I can." dunno why that made me laugh so much
unlabelledView post →Of course, Keanu Reeves was a terrible Diana Ross in the movie of Chain Reaction. #TOTP
unlabelledView post →I...have fan art Mummy movie posters on my walls...with Rachel Weiss & Oded Fehr in particular. 😂 But also how about Rachel Weiss in Chain Reaction? Bonus Keanu!
unlabelledView post →I was working at Argonne National Lab when CHAIN REACTION was being filmed there. A lot of my colleagues are in that movie as extras. Keanu Reeves was surprisingly shorter than I'd imagined.

unlabelledView post →Chain Reaction (1996) with Keanu Reeves, Morgan Freeman, Rachel Weisz. One of my favorite movies from the 90s. I had this movie on my playlist when I am working (I was a programmer). In my second monitor was movies stream, it was before YouTube. I loved everything that motivated me to work.
unlabelledView post →And the premise suits that well. It's practically tailored for an action movie. Like, there can be explicit plot armor. If you squint, the outline maybe looks most like the 1996 Keanu Reeves/Morgan Freeman/Rachel Weisz film "Chain Reaction" - but I hope I can do a little better. 😀 2/2

unlabelledView post →Famously, this film has been known under about a million different titles. as well as "A Bay of Blood", there's "Carnage", "Ecology of Murder", "Twitch of The Death Nerve", and "Chain Reaction", among others. That last one will make more sense as the film progresses. #TheFilmCrowd

unlabelledView post →I love that "police procedural thriller set in Chicago" used to be a whole-ass film genre in the 1990s. The Fugitive. The Negotiator. Chain Reaction. And they always starred this guy as a clownish CPD cop.

unlabelledView post →My grading movie today is Chain Reaction. I've never seen Chain Reaction listed as Chicago movie, and it absolutely should be. But, also, Chain Reaction is an amazing parable about mission creep and the moral hazards of grant funding.

Coming off Siege and Fugitive, i was 27 and pumped for Davis' next movie. He had Keanu and peak Morgan Freeman, who was red hot. Then the movie just lay there like a dead dog.
