Bumblebee
On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary yellow VW bug. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →Optimus Prime's original name has been Orion Pax since G1 (I think S3?). I think this is the first known use of D-16 as Megatron's name (based on the actual catalog number for his Takara figure in '84) Bumblebee was also B-127 in his titular movie, and Elita-1 already kinda fits the format lol

An absolutely phenomenally engineered Transformer who looks great in either mode (I go back and forth on how she's displayed). She's just fantastic.

unlabelledView post →Even within the strict context of the Bayformers films, it doesn't make sense? In the first film, he had a whole thing about not being able to save Bumblebee because doing so would risk human lives. Even when they were the aggressors in that situation, he refused.
