positive · AI labelView post →I love the movie Broken Flowers (2005), where Don (Bill Murray) visits four of his old girlfriends to piece together whether one of them may have had a son by him 20 years earlier. Don discovers a little more about himself, and them, than he was ready for.
positive · AI labelView post →On May 17, 2005, Broken Flowers premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Here’s a drawing of Bill Murray!
neutral · AI labelView post →Happy Birthday Jim Jarmusch. 73 today. Broken Flowers is perhaps my favourite film of his. I watched it shortly after my beloved Grandfather passed away and really touched me about its pursuit of loss, grief and passing #filmsky #moviesky #cinema boxd.it/8zF0Lx

neutral · AI labelView post →Granted, we understand now how much wrong there is in this film, the fact is BROKEN FLOWERS is a near-perfect gem, beginning to end and Gish is spectacular. #filmsky #film
positive · AI labelView post →Broken Flowers is solid Jarmusch, but Murray might be a bit too dry, surprisingly. Caught by the Tides is such a sad movie set against China’s modernization. Shin Godzilla was a lot better this time around. Hilarious satire! Wolf Children is the first Hosoda film I’ve liked somehow. He did it!

neutral · AI labelView post →Seconding Life Aquatic, it is amazing! Additionally, [Broken Flowers](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/308-broken-flowers) is also really good, that is if you like Jim Jarmusch movies. If you do, you should also check out [Coffee & Cigarettes](https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/68540-coffee-and-cigarettes), there is only one skit with Murray but the rest of it is also fantastic.
positive · AI labelView post →Even if you don't dig jazz, you might dig this guy, Stu. Start here. (He was also all over the soundtrack to the Jarmusch movie Broken Flowers, which was my introduction.)
neutral · AI labelView post →I saw Broken Flowers as a college sophomore, still new to seeing movies as "film" and as art, and I thought "dang, this stuff is fucking incredible, can't wait to get more into things like this!" What a peak to walk in on, lol
positive · AI labelView post →It was actually Broken Flowers but there was no gif for what's honestly kind of a middling Jarmusch film.

neutral · AI labelView post →Broken Flowers (2005) is a Jim Jarmusch movie that basically is a solo RPG campaign
neutral · AI labelView post →I discovered this film via Broken Flowers (2005) where the lead character is briefly shown watching it. 🙂

neutral · AI labelView post →Cool. I still need to catch up on that one, at least now I have something to look forward to, apparently. I've seen every Jarmusch film until Broken Flowers when they came out. Most of those more than once. But I have not yet seen all of the ones after that one, and none of these more than once.
neutral · AI labelView post →Kind of was wasn’t a date but we went and saw Broken Flowers a Cannes Grand Prix film by Jim Jarmusch that was about a sad man confronting his former ‘terrible’ lovers, one of whom might be the mother of a secret child. It was awful and I’ve never been more conscious of eating kettle chips.
negative · AI labelView post →Anyway, all this talk of Blake has made me want to see Dead Man again. I'm reminded, in turn, of one of the more famous visitors to the coffee shop, Mulatu Astatke, king of Ethiojazz, who did the sound track for the Jarmusch movie Broken Flowers. Very cool music.
neutral · AI labelView post →Yeah that's a good one. Have you seen Broken Flowers? We just watched it for the first time. Very strange film. But good.
neutral · AI labelView post →Best movie, sure. Broken Flowers is very much Cahiers-core.
positive · AI labelView post →“They are telling us that ‘woke’ is a negative thing,” continued Jarmusch, an indie filmmaker known for such works as “Coffee and Cigarettes,” “Stranger Than Paradise” and “Broken Flowers.” “I would just like to say it’s time we wake the fuck up!”

neutral · AI labelView post →I watched "Broken Flowers" several years ago. Recently, I watched "Paterson" on Amazon. Something of a slice of life film. Some may consider it too slowly paced but I thought it was first-rate. A bus driver who writes poetry. Scenes on bus clever. "The Limits of Control" on my watch list.
neutral · AI labelView post →I originally heard a few of the songs on this album from the soundtrack of a Bill Murray movie, Broken Flowers, and loved them. From there I found this album and have listened to it quite a few times since. Hope you enjoy.
neutral · AI labelView post →I'm especially fond of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and (dark horse pick) Broken Flowers. I also love the casting story for St. Vincent, which isn't the best Bill film but it's sweet.
positive · AI labelView post →Gonna get you to watch Broken Flowers, it's a Bill Murray pic AND a slowly paced Jim Jarmusch film. I consider it a precursor to Lost in Translation, in that he's playing a similar sorta out of touch older middle aged guy with a lot of privilege and not much meaningful human connection. Perfect 4U

neutral · AI labelView post →Broken Flowers (2005), dir. by Jim Jarmusch. #MovieNight
neutral · AI labelView post →I agree with Bill Murray that Broken Flowers is the best he's ever been in anything. It really feels like the kind of movie he was trying to get to make in the 80's but he had to wait for Jim Jarmusch to come into his life.

neutral · AI labelView post →Broken Flowers (2005), directed by Jim Jarmusch, is a dramedy about a middle-aged man who embarks on a journey to reconnect with former lovers after receiving an anonymous letter informing him he has a son. The film explores themes of regret, love, and the passage of time.
neutral · AI labelView post →I watched Broken Flowers a long time ago when I was in my “I wanna understand why people love Bill Murray so much” phase. Such a sad movie. Didn’t realize it was a Jarmusch.
negative · AI labelView post →Not Jim Jarmusch's best film - that is probably still Down by Law, or Mystery Train, or Night on Earth, or Ghost Dog, or Paterson - but Broken Flowers really does remain my favourite. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it at the cinema, now it is still very funny but simultaneously just very sad.
positive · AI labelView post →... to capture another film or story for the list. For example: I loved the film Paterson, and watched Broken Flowers as I was working my way through Bill Murray movies I hadn't seen, realized Jim Jarmusch flicks might hold interest for me, watched Ghost Dog, and now I'm reading Hagakure.
