I bought this game during a sale because I thought "heh, rail shooter, why not" That was not a purchase. That was a BLESSING. I cancelled my gym membership, since I started playing this game. I don't need it. My right arm has become so powerful from moving the mouse during this game that I can open pickle jars that haven't been opened since 1987. TONY LUCIANO. A psychopathic mafia son trying to rescue his girlfriend Cherry Popz from a gang. This is high literature. Homer wishes he thought of…

really fun and funny railshooter, a criminally under-represented genre. pretty short even with 2 game modes, so probably wait for a sale, and screams for a sequel that's unlikely to happen.

Originally from the creation of Viktor Kalvachev's graphic novel for mature readers a.k.a. adults! If any of that things are not your preferences, or you’re easily insulted by boilerplate racial or sexual characterizations, best to stay away from this one. But, if…

Criminally Underrated On-Rail Shooter One of the best on-rail shooters I’ve ever played. The first two levels are something unbelievable, absolutely amazing. That alone makes this game a must-play. The game has a great atmosphere. Art design and sound perfectly catch the mood of Hong Kong action movies from the ’90s. Honestly, everything here is hyperbolic and parody-like -total madness and mayhem. Black humor, tits, ball shooting - god, how amazing is this. The only bad thing is that the…

Wanted to give this game a new try (the first time was back when it was new), and it didn't take long to find it just as underwhelming as it was then. I like some rail shooters, just point-shoot-reload and little else, but despite having only seven stages, Blue Estate manages to overstay its welcome right from the start, as no amount of self-aware humour can change the fact that you loop time and again back into the same hall at the Twin Dragon. This ends up hurting even parts that could be…

Game is actually pretty darn killer. Sure its an outdated format (on rails shooter) but from the games ive played in the genre this just might be the best one ive played period. If this game is light gun compatible this is a serious contender. Now i don't actually know what blue estate is so i obviously dont get all the refrences that people who know the source material would but the humor and story really is silly, reminded me very much of the type of humor you would get in Shadow warrior so…

Nothing bad to say about it. It's fun, on-rails shooter with a silly/stupid sense of humour, which I like. Might not be for everyone, but on a sale, you won't regret it, if you're just looking for something to pass the time and have a chuckle.

Decent enough combat as far as a rail shooter goes but wow did the comedy not age well (if it was even funny at the time). I think I laughed maybe once during the 6 hours it took to beat it.

Honestly, I didn't expect much, but this game was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. It's short, stupid in the best way, and doesn't take itself seriously at all, which works. The humor actually made me laugh more than once, and Yeah, the shooting just feels good. It's a dumb over-the-top ride and I enjoyed it a lot. 9.5 outta 10. Awesome it is THEE PC light gun gun we never had. Like a mix of Virtua Cop, Time Crisis and Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles with a Yakuza style gangsta vibe. It's funny and in your face and doesn't pull it's punches. Will probably offend the wokies. Essential purchase and yes it works great on steam deck.

You can get a key for this game for as low as 50 cents. Yes, 50 CENTS. And for that you may as well break into the devs' homes and rob them, because this game is worth it's price and then some. Sure, there's only like 8 levels (16 if you count the arcade mode versions) but they're pretty lengthy and fun, and I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouse considering you barely get games like this available on PC nowadays. And the humor? I love it, sure it might not be everyone's cup of tea,…

It pains me to give this game a negative review. But I really have to be honest with my "personal" standards. Why a negative review? Well, it's because the humours are NOT fun at all. It's itching, but not enough to make me laugh (but I read a lot of reviews complimenting this aspect, so I guess our senses of humour are just different). The Abnormal difficulty is too easy for PC (and the harder one is unlocked only after you complete this difficulty), but I believe the game is made for light…

Really fun short game. It feels like John Wick and Deadpool had a baby, and this game was the result. It has a lot of replay value, as these types of games usually do, in order to get a higher score. There's also 2 player local co-op. Runs great at 4K@120Hz with the current specs.

It's okay because it's your typical rail shooter in addition with Over the top humor. You play as either an incompetent son of a Mafia or an ex-Navy SEAL in later playthrough just to steal a prize horse. Pros: It's an entertaining fun shooting, with variety of weapons. Having played rail shooters before, I wasn't expecting a good story, as the genre's arcade nature prioritizes action. I was pleasantly surprised to find a high-quality story and humor that I think even more serious media should have. The game features two distinct characters with different play styles, as shown in the trailer. Play as Tony, an inexperienced character whose vision is constantly obstructed by his hair, or play as Clarence, a skilled marksman who is inexplicably followed by…

6/10. Fine game, the jokes and gags are funny for the first missions after that they get quite boring since they don't innovate. The bosses have too much health and in two fights the room just repeats itself. The arcade missions are ok. Music must be turned on to at least 5% or 10% otherwise cutscenes will have no sound. Don't go to the developer website since it will redirect you to a chinese betting site, same with the comic one.

Blue Estate is a loud, abrasive, and unapologetically stylized rail shooter developed and published by HE SAW that embraces excess as its defining feature. Inspired by a graphic novel universe, the game channels the spirit of grindhouse cinema and old-school arcade cabinets, delivering a fast-moving shooting experience that values attitude, humor, and raw spectacle over subtlety or realism. From the moment it begins, it makes its intentions clear: this is a game about blasting through waves of…

In my opinion Blue Estate is an underwhelming on-the-rails shooter. It's just mindless shooting without much else. Someone will say: "but on-the-rails are just like that! mindless shooting!". Ok but for sure there are much better games of the same genre, that accompany the combat with some nice story. A notable example is Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. In this game I didn't like the story, which I found completely uninteresting and not conveyed well. The main narrator speaks too quickly so it was…

The genre of on-rail shooter games, despite the extremely long history, has not seen a worthy new entry in, what, 25 years? Of course, the reasons are many and all are understandable: the light gun technology has become obsolete; similar but more polished genres have taken over the landscape; and people simply stopped caring about the genre anymore. Still, if for some (weird) reason you’re being hit by a wave of nostalgia, or have the sudden urge for old-fashioned “shoot-everything-that-moves”…

A funny game and a well-made on-rails shooter. That genre was already considered ancient by when the game came out 10 years ago and is almost forgotten now, the last examples living in the few remaining arcades, but this game is a stellar example of it. It invests a lot in humour which isn't always great or even funny, especially in the Tony levels. However the interactions in the Clarence levels between Clarence and the dense mob henchmen Lino and Mauro were comedic standouts. Also the comic…

Super fun arcade shooter, on rails like Time Crisis or House of The Dead but funnier and with more mechanics, game has a lot of bad reviews because millenials cant stomach 90s humor. and everything they touch... they ruin it. Lights, recoil, pedal everything perfect after just switching to raw mouse input (recommended for lightguns). What a treat the game is. Looks great. Music is pretty funky and it plays like of time crisis decided to be Postal 2. Superb.

As of right now it's on sale for 1$ so... This game was a ton of fun. I don't play many on-rails shooters but it gave me nostalgia for my old half broken plastic guns and time crisis 2. I the jokes actually had me laughing at parts but they just try to throw in as many as they can making it very hit and miss. It was an enjoyable few hours but at normal price it's short unless you plan to be playing arcade mode for high scores. But overall, I kicked I chihuahua onto a guys face 10/10
