As well as it being fun to play it's nice to see some real 'love' in this game - e.g. the home base, the UI and transitions are all cool little touches that aren't strictly necessary for the game to work but really add to the overall experience. Anyway, nice work! I can't wait to have a few friends round to play it with :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bish Bash Bots is a game that will draw comparisons to games like Overcooked, but I think it stands out enough on its own. These games work by treating time like an important resource, any action you do in this game is to juggle time and get the most out of it. What this game does really well when compared to Overcooked is that these transactions in time are a lot clearer and more intuitive to understand. Tower Defence games were everywhere in the flash game days partly due to them being very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I rarely post negative game reviews because I think every game have its public, but not this one. It consists mostly of hammering (pun intended) your bash button to either awkwardly push back enemies or upgrade turrets. There is no depth in any of the mechanics introduced, and almost everything is extremely uninspired. It feels like playing a mobile game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel like this game is really designed for co-op and is more of a console game. I'm a PC player playing solo and if that describes you as well, then I wouldn't bother with this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bish Bash Bots is like the delightful offspring of Bloons and Overcooked, offering a refreshing fusion of tower defence strategy and cooperative chaos. One standout feature of this game is its versatility in multiplayer options. Whether you prefer gathering on the couch with friends or engaging in exciting online coop, Bish Bash Bots has you covered. However, I'd love to see the addition of offline player AI for those times when you can't round up three other players – it would make the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not Recommended: if you enjoy solo. Recommend: only if you have friends. Designed for co-op. It's very hard to solo and you will leak. Online quick join is not available. To co-op with friends, you create a room and share the code.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unbalanced, Very grindy, and make you feel miserable for playing Solo. a very forgettable experience in a Genre that has many other titles.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun local/online co-op game tower defense with physics. A fun pickup and play title, though getting a perfect score in later levels often requires the use of teamwork. Fun features like knocking enemies into pits or using a crane to pickup enemies are a nice touch adding variety in the way you tackle levels. All in all a good game solidly built, best played with friends even better played with friends on a couch.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you saw "Couch-Coop Tower Defence" and wanted to jump right in, I don't blame you. I did too. This tower defence game has a good style, decent music and a cool concept.... that utterly fails in its delivery. ((TL;DR: There is a reason that 74% of players have played enough to pick their first gadget, but only 43% have finished the second area. This game drops it's players off a cliff with bad design choices.)) The levels have various gimmicks that add to the difficulty and instead of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first we thought this is a cute couch coop tower defense game but after a while you start realising that everything in the game is just there to annoy you. The gameplay loop is basically managing time. You have to build towers, upgrading towers costs time, collecting money costs time. dealing with the level specific challenges costs time. most towers are just plain bad. the first one you get is overall just the best tower in the game and it´s not even close. the level design is confusing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bish Bash Bots skillfully blends casual tower defense strategy with exciting brawling action, all within a quirky, dystopian future filled with rebellious robots. The game's storyline is engaging and adds a unique twist to the experience. One feature I've appreciated is the game's multiplayer options. Whether you prefer couch co-op with friends or online play with players from around the world, Bish Bash Bots caters to your preferences. The gameplay itself is a lot of fun. From the early demo…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really want this to be good, its cute, it has a ton of charm and I hope the devs continue to work on it. poorly balanced. x10 the value of swinging the hammer. even if you multiply the enemies by 10 to accomplish this, it would still be more fun. as it stands, they encourage you to stand still for the whole mission to upgrade structures. Even playing red, the character whose ultimate is to upgrade things faster, still cannot upgrade a single stucture 1 time for the ultimate. On the bright…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun little party game to play with 2 players. Had 20 hours of good fun grinding all the achievements. Game makes no sense if you do not go for the challenges in each level as it is too easy that way. Highly recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun lil Tower defense game. Style and co-op reminds me of Overcooked and is pretty fun with a friend. Gets very hectic in some spots and knocking bots into pits is very satisfying.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played with my girlfriend, took us 8~ hours to finish (4 sessions) The game's got style and lots of fun and quick mechanics to it, definitely feels close to what we love in a classic Tower Defence game but with the "on foot" experience on walking around the track of the enemies There is struggle with understanding where you are amidst chaos, especially in later levels. Also, we replayed the first level twice not realizing you had to manually move to the next level in the select level…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In this game, you whack robots with a hammer while your friend yells at you for not placing enough turrets. Its cute and fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Only buy this if you've got 3 friends, then the game is balanced and super fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game with a variety of satisfying mechanics. The wave defence is hard but rewarding and encourages the use of interesting tactics. Definitely worth playing!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS GAME IS SO FUN! For fans of Overcooked & being the engineer in Team Fortress 2! I played this with my friend and then bought it myself to play with my girlfriend because i enjoyed it so much. It's a joyous time to play couch co-op. Giggling so much as we fail and then succeed. It's frantic and colourful and and fun and stressful. It's incredibly easy to pick up and challenging yet do-able. I highly recommend it for a fun group game you can play in short bursts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun as F*&%, 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm giving this a positive review, but with some huge caveats. I enjoy a lot of the core gameplay and how it iterates a bit on Pixeljunk Monsters, a series I enjoyed that ended too soon. There are three really frustrating/disappointing things about Bish Bash Bots: 1. There is no score or accumulated points or anything. You beat a stage, or you don't. The number of bots you defeat isn't tallied anywhere, and nothing is gained by bashing more or less. 2. The optional objectives are often…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I finished the game in coop with my sis. Fun game really! However balancing is a bit off, some levels are very hard vs others, some gadgets/characters definitely better than others, and blaster/sniper towers are definitely the most useful towers. Get the 100% completion on the game is tedious though: some level challenge like "do not be touch by X" is super hard versus another like "use only X towers" are super easy. Not super fun to try hard those challenges then, but fun to just finish the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this game for my wife and I to play together as it is remote play. We started it up and it worked but my controller wasn't working. So I restarted the game to get my controller to work and then it wouldn't let my wife play anymore. Repeatedly received an error message saying, something like unable to play game no licenses. She shouldn't need to own the game to play it for remote play. So I am sad to say I am returning my purchase since I can't seem to get it to work.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really fun game, I highly recommend it, especially for the price. I wanted to wait until I 100%'ed it before I left a review which took about 17-18 hours in total. I really enjoy how the movement feels, it's really smooth. Being able to have characters with individual abilities that are crucial to beating the game is a really unique aspect compared to your typical tower defence game. The story is simple but well crafted so it's easy to understand and provides a satisfying ending. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun cooperative tower defense game. The game is really well finished and optimized, I haven't noticed a single bug or stutter at any point, even though I'm playing on an old gaming laptop. The graphics are also very pleasant. It's great to finally see indie game that is already so polished during its release! The gameplay experience is fantastic. I have played several games in this category, e.g. Domain Defense, Over 9000! Zombies, Pixel Junk Monster Ultimate, Kingdom Rush Tower Defense, No…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YOU CAN PET A CAT AND GO POTTY BEST GAME. Tower Defense + Diablo + Humans Fall Flat Played with my gf on stream and our brains hurt. Got super into it, very fun and cute.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Darn it! I just know this game is gonna eat away my evenings! It's so addictive. I do love tower defence games but I've never played one with a brawling aspect. It's colourful, bright and fresh looking, people will probably compare it to Plants versus Zombies but it's more frenetic than that. It's chaotic, fast and varied, much faster than PvZ. Within 2 minutes I was paddling my keyboard like a maniac. I stopped for a quick breather but then....I'll just try another level, ok that was pretty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is great, it makes people feel relaxed and the difficulty level is reasonable. It is very suitable for enhancing friendship among multiple people. This is the best game I have played recently I highly recommend picking up this game, it's the most fun I've had with online multiplayer in the last two months, and I'd recommend playing it with 2-4 players, as solo play can be a bit of a handful. (On a side note, I still don't get the idea of the turrets and the missile towers pushing away the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loads of fun! Especially playing coop with friends. Highly recommend. Looks and sounds fantastic and feel's great to play - bashing bots back across a lane or down a hole is a real joy. It has all the elements for an excellent tower defence game: varied level design, fun tower combinations, interesting enemy types, co-op, a cat in the waiting area - I mean what more could you ask for. It's cute, it's colourful, it's deceptively strategic, there are hats. Cuddle up with your significant other…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've listened to a few of your podcasts now, enjoying how they're always chilled conversations about ideas and how people got into game dev. Plus without your podcast I wouldn't have tried out Bish Bash Bots! Keep them coming
unlabelledView post →Next we have Bish Bash Bots by the same devs. Love tower defence? Love Overcooked? Well do I have the game for you! It's a 1-4 player co-op tower defence where you run around building towers, upgrading them, using special powers and gadgets, or if a bot gets past using your hammer to deal with them.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyed playing this game in co-op. It was fun to complete the game and go back to perfect everything afterwards giving the game extra replayability. As we perfected everything we found that there were only a few turrets that were required to beat every level, more variety between maps would be good here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this game with my wife, we loved it. games a lot of fun, wish it had workshop mode available, have that non-stop flow of levels or maps. that would make it infinitely fun. beating the game took us maybe a week of playing each night. still well worth it, and going back to beat the challenges and get perferct scores is still fun. would recommend for gamers especially not attuned to handling 2 joysticks. its very beginner friendly
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great fun with friends - mechanics aren't super deep but some of the level and challenges provide a good range of difficulty.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great couch co-op! My wife and I are getting into this after playing Overcooked 2 for more than a hundred hours. I think we'll get just as much fun out of it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great party game. Found it through Stumpt. It has the same vibe as Overcooked. Manic, yet therapeutic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tower defense games are usually not my strength, but this didn't matter to my play through of Bish Bash Bots. I not only could strategise where I wanted to build my weapon turrets, but I could also attack the robot enemies myself, which added to the fun atmosphere of the game. I played this solo and via the split screen co-op mode, and both were so much fun. During multiplayer mode there was more mayhem but it never felt overwhelmingly difficult, which some tower defense games can have. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love Tower Defense Games and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnn.......!!!!!! This is the best Tower Defense game I ever played :) Really good, nothing to complain! (Or I do, too expensive in Brazil) I like the variaty of turrets, the levels, the difficulty, all the robots and the way all the levels works!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great for both single player and multiplayer. Both myself and the wife have played solo and co-op, considering she doesn't like games for her to sit on anything for hours means it must be good. The levels of difficulty are varied and the variance of bots and turrets mean you don't get bored. The design is bright and colourful with hidden jokes that make you smile. 10/10 would fall in hole again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was really looking forward to this game. I've been a big fan of Pixel Junk: Monsters and BBB looked like just the right departure from the former, adding just enough fresh ingredients to completely twist the tower defense genre around. I'm not going to lie here, as I first launched the game, I was immediately charmed by its visuals and tone. However, after the 2nd level, I was a little worried by the difficulty level since I cruised through those two stages easily. Boy was I wrong! The 3rd…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Apparently the game is a lot of fun. Pros: - no multiplayer problems whats so ever (Exepct Chosen Server does not get saved and changed randomly) - nice coop, not to chill not to hard - juice polished game loop - nice art style and clean UI Cons: - only host can skip story and intro - bit to slippery movement, but mb thats the charm of this game Some Feedback: - pls make it so that we can see the objectives and their states during a run - show the paths of the bots with a little indicator -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game. Beautiful lil interactive tower defence style game. The graphics and animation are seriously on point, which adds a cool touch to the gameplay. It's got a nice blend of challenge and fun. Plus, they've kept it simple to jump into, which is a big plus. Haven't had chance to try co-op yet, but definitely a game I'd jump on with my girlfriend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic twist on the traditional tower defence game. The mechanics, gameplay, graphics, sound design, difficulty level are all brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone, especially those looking for a good couch-coop game to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall I think the game is pretty sound. Sound design and graphics mesh pretty well together and the controls are fluid and mindful of how chaotic the game can be. I highly recommend playing on a controller! Although the keyboard controls are decent enough. There's a good amount of variety and gameplay length so far. You really lose track of time as you're trying to manage turret building, upgrading, and whacking the crap out of robots. So I think the value of the game is there. My one…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a really cute tower defense game. I love how you can interact with the bots as well as build turrets and that's going to be great fun in MP. Everyone has a role to play. I've only played single-player so far but the balancing is great and I really look forward to jumping on with some friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a fun take on tower defence and the animation is fantastic as it kind of reminds me of Adventure Time, I would recommend playing if not for the animation then for the ability to bash the bots that your towers miss. 09/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun and cute game! It's got vibes of Overcooked and the gameplay can certainly get chaotic towards the end of a level, especially in multiplayer. It's tower defence, but keeps you on your toes as you move between upgrading turrets, placing new ones, and bashing bots that have gotten too far! Going back and replaying previous levels with new turrets can be rewarding and different strategies can be used. I sometimes wish the hammer bashing was a bit more reliable/stronger, but I think the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So much fun, getting awesome Fieldrunners vibes from this one!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not a bad game but it has a massive flaw for a tower defence, the defence cannot shoot. they don't have the range at level 1. So you need to build the tower and increase the level to at least 3. Kind of counter productive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic game. Single or coop. Soundtrack is great. So much fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We tried really hard to like this game. Just found ourselves having less fun after every stage.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is broken, can't even select a character or start an online game with friends. If it gets fixed i'll try again
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I expected a casual game to play with the gf and this is clearly not that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea itself is an easy sell, but the execution was a big letdown. I roped friends into playing it because it looked interesting, but actually playing through it revelead how lackluster it feels. There is this kind of "gameplay glue" that's missing. The game has a decent amount of individual parts, but they don't really harmonize together to make for a coherent and engaging experience. Turrets don't feel balanced enough to warrant utilizing most of them, with the worst offender being some…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So i tried to love it! Overcooked + towerdefence sounds good. But the reality is baaad. wide roads so none of turrets hit mobs, boring upgrading through levels, punishing mechanics on levels like Desert. Droped after 3 hours
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An okay co-op tower defense. Tentatively recommended for co-op, but only if you think carefully about how its quirks might not be fun for you. Probably not recommended solo. No idea if I should give this a thumbs up or down, but I'll err on the side of up since I've had a hard time finding other fun co-op TD's. Important Warning: A lot of the level "quirks" will really irritate some players. Almost every map introduces mechanics like frequent difficult-to-avoid stuns, towers all over the…
