Big
When a young boy makes a wish at a carnival machine to be big, he wakes up the following morning to find that it has been granted and his body has grown older overnight, but he is still the same 13-year-old boy inside. Now he must learn how to cope with the unfamiliar world of grown-ups, including getting a job and having his first romantic encounter with a woman. From TMDB

This is a critical victory for consumers, for objective and independent journalism, and for the workers, actors, artists and fans of our country's film and tv industry.

And she'd bring up our big eating scene constantly. "Don't forget. On Wednesday, we're eating." She's amazing in every possible way.

Kurt Russell is magnificent with all his bravado and one-liners, the fights are great, and Lo Pan and his crew are fantastic. 10/10 ❤️ #Filmsky #Moviesky 📽️

unlabelledView post →It has the plot right out of a Pedro Almodóvar but executed in only the way John Sayles makes films. It feels like it is about the destructive nature of self-pity. Resolutely old-fashioned, it probably felt old-fashioned in 1993, but it feels like a film from another world now. Big fan.
