Beverly Hills Cop III
When his boss is killed, Detroit cop Axel Foley finds evidence that the murderer had ties to a California amusement park called Wonder World. Returning to sunny Beverly Hills once more, Foley reunites with Detective Billy Rosewood to solve the case. Along with Billy's new partner, Detective Jon Flint, they discover that Wonder World is being used as a front for a massive counterfeiting ring. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →So 1994’s Beverly Hills Cop III is on. & somehow, despite being a Battlestar Galactica uber-fan, I never knew BHC3 contained a scene in the Galactica-inspired Alien Attack attraction in LA’s Universal Studios. Complete with modified Cylons. The scene’s gratuitous, the film’s awful, but hey: Cylons!
unlabelledView post →ICYMI - They can't all be Beverly Hills Cop. But at least it ain't Beverly Hills Cop III.
unlabelledView post →Beverly Hills Cop III: Eddie Murphy pursues a killer in an amusement park in the much-lambasted third entry, which deserves all it gets. Murphy looks just plain miserable, John Landis' direction is flatter than a week-old Coke, the action is beyond clumsy, and the jokes wither. Just abysmal.

unlabelledView post →Beverly Hills Cop III is so cartoonishly bad/weird* and has tons of cameos from ppl like Joe Dante and Ray Harryhausen. It should have cult status. *bronson pinchot is obviously perfect tho
unlabelledView post →There is a joke about how many jurisdictions there are in the LA area on Beverly Hills Cop III and I did not understand how much it wasn't a joke and a serious dysfunction until I started handling police misconduct cases in the LA area
unlabelledView post →hey Overhated patrons, I just published one of our best (big) episodes. my guest is screenwriter Steven de Souza. we start on Beverly Hills Cop III but there's also a long discussion about The Flintstones, a sidebar about script doctors, and a final anecdote you won't believe.

unlabelledView post →So I watched Beverly Hills Cop III today and the German dub had a lot of homophobic jokes, so I put on the original version to see what they say their and there was just nothing?! Who thinks it's a good idea to do this, when it's not even in the original version? 📽️🤦 Wtf?! 📽️

Did you know he was in consideration for directing Jurrasic Park, The 6th Day, The World is Not Enough, Beverly Hills Cop III, and was interested in the '89 Batman?!

unlabelledView post →Watching BEVERLY HILLS COP III. I'd forgotten this was even a thing, but now I'm remembering it. So far the only cardinal sin it has committed is using music that sounds like an attempt at cloning the "Axel F" theme.
unlabelledView post →Beverly Hills Cop III, maybe? Or Crow 2: City of Angels. I walked out of The Spirit.

unlabelledView post →Beverly Hills Cop III 1994 A hollowed out shell of its original self, now a grotesque, lazy caricature. Silly in the wrong ways. Murphy phones in his performance. #filmsky #movies #film #cinema

unlabelledView post →Great character actor! For me, the sly NSA agent on TXF who got the better of Mulder on a train cart that may-or-may-not have carried an alien. I later noticed both he and Timothy Carhart (from the next XF ep) were in Beverly Hills Cop III. Mostly underused, but still nice call from the XF casting!

unlabelledView post →The exception, of course, is BEVERLY HILLS COP III, in which Axel does have a somewhat romantic relationship. But his flirtations with Janice (Theresa Randle) are exceptionally chaste and respectful. Not that celibacy is the same as asexuality, but in BH3 Axel arguably reads ace, just not aro.
unlabelledView post →BEVERLY HILLS COP: AXEL F. is a middle-of-the-road action comedy with hackneyed storytelling, familiar jokes, and only a couple decent action sequences. But at least it's better than BEVERLY HILLS COP III. My review is here, at The Wrap!

unlabelledView post →Seen some folks online saying "What happened to meritocracy and hiring good writers for TV and movies?" and like if only it were that simple. Die Hard, great movie, but the guy who wrote that when on to write Beverly Hills Cop III, Street Fighter (he also directed), and Judge Dread, back to back.
