Batman: Caped Crusader
Created by Bruce Timm
Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human—the Batman. His one-man crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications. From TMDB

Producer William Dozier cast West as Batman in the tv series in part after seeing West perform as the James Bond-like spy Captain Q in a Nestlé Quik commercial. The Batman series ran for 3 years. #AdamWest

Through my whole life, she seemed like a friend and inspiration, and she’s followed me most of my career. First with Birds of Pret, then her solo book.

neutral · AI labelView post →My favorite thing about the 1960s Batman show is that sometimes the villains would have to go to court. Like The Riddler would show up wearing his Riddler shit talking about "I don't know what you're talking about"

neutral · AI labelView post →Absolute Batman is great and I’m sure the animated show will be too. Buts it’s wild that we got that before Absolute Wonder Woman as a series, as it’s the objectively better comic and we’ve already had so many Batman series. Hell, there’s another one on Amazon right now, Caped Crusader!
positive · AI labelView post →i'm writing about the 60s Batman show and man this thing really did a number on every kid who watched it
neutral · AI labelView post →Spent the first day of 2025 randomly watching Twilight Zone episodes and working on concept art for 2 totally different projects but both featuring Batman 😁 Since I can’t talk of (or show anything from) either yet, here’s a totally unrelated BATMAN 89 which is totally COOL to post, as always 😘🦇
neutral · AI labelView post →You know, it’s truly wild how they keep making Batman-adjacent (live action) TV shows but not, like, Batman. Gotham, Pennyworth, Batwoman, that Titans show where Robin did a cuss, Penguin. I keep expecting HAROLD: THE ORIGIN OF BATMAN’S MECHANIC to show up on Max one of these days.
