Avatar: Seven Havens
Created by Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko
In a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm, a young Earthbender discovers she's the new Avatar after Korra. But in this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior. Hunted by both human and spirit enemies, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens before civilization's last strongholds collapse. From TMDB

neutral · AI labelView post →It's still impressive to me that the series had the emotional maturity and freedom to paint Azula as capable of unspeakable cruelty and destruction, but also as a damaged, failed victim. For a Nickelodeon show from 2005, that's kind of insane. And it's why Avatar is still one of my favorite series.
positive · AI labelView post →I'm working on the new Avatar series "Avatar: Seven Havens" Honestly no words to express how much this means to me!! it's been a dream of mine for well over a decade now. But I'm giving it my all as part of the editorial team. So endlessly grateful to be a part of this crew

unlabelledView post →It's cool that they're making a new Avatar show but my biggest fear is that they'll make the new Avatar straight because "Korra was gay," despite Korrasami being, at best, subtext that didn't even make it across the finish line in the show itself.
