DRACULA and ABBOT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN. It's like if Connery had only played Bond in DR. NO and AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER.

He states an intolerance for intolerance, then immediately expresses an arbitrary intolerance for a specific group, revealing himself to be a hypocrite.

unlabelledView post →98. Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) I don't get why people don't like this one. It takes the best parts of the second film and ramps it up to 11, while serving as a super fun end to the trilogy. The titular character kinda sucks, but everything else more than makes up for it.

But I gotta stay true to my heart & say Austin Powers in Goldmember. I love those movies with all my heart & hope we get a fourth one day.

unlabelledView post →Austin Powers in Goldmember definitely liked it more than the second movie lol jokes werent as good and self reliant as the first one, but it felt like a properly humorous and unserious wrap up to the franchise. definitely multiple laugh out loud moments and james bond references
unlabelledView post →4/20 - Austin Powers in Goldmember Just because the film acknowledges that it's reusing jokes doesn't stop them from feeling tired. Yet again, so much of the humor I would've liked here just went on for too long, and even then, I think the humor of this movie just kind of sucks.

negative · AI labelView post →Austin Powers' inglorious end... so far. I can't deny that Austin Powers was a landmark franchise for late '90s humor cinema, but the truth is that this film, like its immediate predecessor, isn't funny at all. Here, the script is based on a new conspiracy by Dr. Evil, this time in harmony with a Dutchman fascinated by gold, who wants all the gold he can hoard. So that the English spy doesn't get in his way, he kidnapped and had Powers' father killed. The script is very weak, has worn-out…
