As I write this, the game has just been released, and I’m approaching it not only as a gamer but as a real-life rally driver who has won nearly everything at the national level in my class(For the record, I’m not claiming to be a professional driver like Kalle Rovanperä, but I have spent enough time behind the wheel of a real rally car to understand what feels realistic and what doesn’t) Having spent countless hours with Richard Burns Rally, which I still regard as the gold standard for…

If you ever played Dirt or WRC and hope similar feeling of the car sticking to the ground- forget it. It feel somewhere in the middle of Richard Burns Rally and other AC games. If you hope to play with keyboard boy oh boy you will have a "great time". controller or wheel is a must! What i really dislike is this hype to release unfinished/early access games. You buy a cat in the bag and don't know what to expect in the end. So far it looks promising, car tuning, is more in-depth than your…

Assetto Corsa Rally – the game where physics slaps you and you say “thank you” Assetto Corsa Rally is a game that gently whispers “Be precise.” …and then absolutely ruins your entire run because you were 2 km/h too optimistic. This is not an arcade game. This is a humility simulator. A simulator of how quickly you can go from “future rally legend” to “local tree enthusiast.” Physics – also known as “reality with no filter” There is no “eh, I’ll save it.” You won’t. Brakes aren’t a button.…

The game really gets massivly overhyped by influencers and the reviews here. There are massive issues nobody is talking about. It feels like all the influencers got paid. Dont get me wrong. The driving is fun. the graphics are really good, the setups like tire pressure, rideheight has a meaninfull effect on the car. But... FFB: - The FFB is really bad and not on 2025 standards. The only FFB effect that tells you what the car does is the rotation of the car. When the cars starts to rotate…

This is not EA WRC or Dirt Rally. The handling here is on a completely different level, far more realistic, far more detailed, and honestly a bit overwhelming at first. I did struggle in the beginning until I adapted to it, and that’s coming from someone who has spent a lot of time with sim racing games. Once it clicks, the physics feel incredibly natural and everything the car does makes sense. The graphics are amazing. I’d honestly say this is the best-looking sim racing game out right now,…

at this moment, all i can say is that the physics of this game are actually insane. the ffb is a decent upgrade when comparing it to the original ac game. its very refined and very well done, although the game isnt very optimised. also, frame generation is doing absolutely nothing besides making the game even less smooth. i am using the moza r3 btw. gamepad support is decent but pretty hard to get used to and definitely needs improvements. i fully understand the game is early access and there…

I can finally see a future where I will have only one good rally game installed on my pc instead of 4 bad ones. Even if in early access atm I can say that Assetto Corsa Rally is a breath of fresh air for the rally fan community. If you're chasing realism, this game has it, the physics are impressively close to real-world driving, capturing the weight transfer, grip loss, and surface transitions with great accuracy. Visually, it's in a league of its own. The graphics are arguably the best…

Best $23.99 I've ever spent on a game Also, I (can't believe I am saying this) but I am happy there are only 2 locations and 10 cars. Sometimes (for me), when a game comes with a ton of initial content, I just get lost and lose the focus needed to learn. I feel like this offering is forcing me to learn proper-like. I feel like the devs and I are laying the groundwork for a great relationship.

Lots of potential but is fairly poorly executed currently. It all comes down to the brakes... its just completely wrong and braking in this game does not in any way mimic reality... ive seen reviews that suggest the cars just don't turn and the handling is poor or overly difficult and really its not the handling... when the tyres brake traction under braking they will continue forward and you will end up off the road, upsetting the balance of the car is realistic, the way the body weight shifts…

As a owner of a sim rig with motion, owner of every rally title I feel asseto corsa rally is absolutely top notch. Graphically it is simply the best rally title we have received. Physics are a kin to RBR or WRCG. Cars slide and react realistically. Throttle management is prevelent here where as they were not in codemaster games. Sounds are superb. The menu music is amazing and I thoroughly enjoy the sounds of the car. Customation of rallys and graphics are spot on. My only…

I have been in many different gravel rally cars in real life. These cars suck in comparison which they shouldn't, they have no side grip, they don't stop, they take bumps like a pogo stick the only thing they do well is accelerate only if you're straight. I have spent most my time changing the setup and nothing works. I know wales is notoriously loose. It's like the car weighs way too much and tries to fill every bump and dip there is and then smashes through the stroke of the damper and…

A game in 2025 that is actually optimised from early access launch, unbelievable! I'm running a solid 60 on below minimum required specs (RTX 2060, I5 9400F) on medium graphics (which still looks great). This is also with V-sync due to my rubbish monitor so i reckon it would go even higher fps/higher settings at 60. The physics are great, the sounds are great, replays are great, its going to get better and better. Get it bought!

Close enough, welcome back, DiRT Rally! This one concerned me at first, so close after Assetto Corsa Evo, another Assetto Corsa game? Another EARLY ACCESS Assetto Corsa Game? If you have any grey matter left in your head, this should be ringing alarm bells, and for good reason. Assetto Corsa Rally feels like what DiRT Rally 2 should've improved, packed into a small, neat little tech demo. # The Good Most of the game is part of this category, so let me just start: The Physics are great,…

    - Brutally difficult, especially when using an XBOX controller. - Steep hardware requirements - doesn't run very well on my 3080, ... i installed the game on my son's computer (setup with a 5070) and it ran buttery smooth. - Probably x2 as difficult as DiRT-2; you're skating on ice most of the time. - Beautiful graphics - Great Audio/Sounds Effects - A extremely solid release thus far; hopefully the game continues to move forward in the right direction - It's what WRC should have been

I come from playing the Dirt Rally series and this game is definitely harder and more realistic and that's saying a lot. That said, I would recommend it to anyone feeling the itch for a good rally car racing game. The graphics are insanely good and car handling is challenging, but fun to learn. Assetto Corsa Rally was definitely not in my bingo card for 2025, but I’m extremely glad it happened. At first, my skepticism was a bit high due to the fact that it isn’t exactly developed by Kunos, but Supernova Games Studios instead, a company I had never heard of until the announcement. I was worried they got the license only to surf on the franchise’s massive reputation and deliver something quite underwhelming. Skepticism aside, I’ve always been a huge rally fan, so - locked and loaded…

I understand that I probably suck at the game, I find myself retrying races over and over. This game is awesome but it would be nice if it wouldn't take 15 button presses to restart a race. I know it seems petty but it would also save some time if the count down to the beginning of a race was cut down to just 3 seconds. I understand that these requests are kind of ridiculous but when I restart a race 50 times, all of it adds up. I want to reiterate that I love the game but I crash a ton. Just…

I've been playing Dirt Rally 2.0 regularly for the past few months. I've even gotten to the top 5% in the world on the leader boards on multiple tracks. This game... This game kicked my ass and I love it! I saw some complaints about the sense of speed. Let me tell you, it's accurate. Almost to a fault. I had a girlfriend over 20 years ago now who lived on a gravel road. I would regularly drive my car as fast as it could handle on that road. With my crappy tires and bad suspension I could…

Hello! Please consider adding full VR support to Assetto Corsa Rally. VR support would be a great addition for many players, especially those using headsets like the Meta Quest 3. The game is already an excellent rally simulator, and playing it in VR would make the experience much more immersive. I haven’t spent a ton of time driving yet (about 40 additional hours offline), but several things feel off. Most of my experience is on gravel stages in RWD cars. The grip model is inconsistent. In a straight line, you have way too much grip. You can brake hard, even downhill on wet stages with hard tires, and still not lock the front wheels. But the moment you introduce even a small slip angle, grip just disappears. It goes from feeling like pavement to feeling like mud instantly. There’s no…

Great visuals, but the gravel physics need serious work My biggest issue with Assetto Corsa Rally is the lack of grip. Braking distances feel excessively long, and every car slides endlessly on gravel, making it feel more like driving on snow. Well, i tried Assetto Corsa Rally, the game is so good, but I have a problem that does not occur to me in any Assetto Corsa, not even in the EVO, in all of them it recognizes the handbrake and the shifter even without being MOZA or a brand, but in this new delivery it does not recognize anything other than the steering wheel and pedals. I would love, you solve me this problem, because i really like the game physichs.

This is going to replace Richard Burns Rally and be the defactor rally simulator if they nail the community driver championships and add good modding support. This is the first rally game where the car actually feels connected to something and even RWD cars feel great to drive. Must have for any rally fan!

For sure worth it when on sale. Finally a hard-core style rally sim! The Dirt Rally series was great, but anytime I went from that to RBR I would fly off the road...telling me that Dirt rally felt off. This game is as good as RBR physics-wise, only gripe is that when you lock up under braking on tarmac, you're toast...which is frustratingly not real. Really my largest complaint, which is not fair to throw on the title is a large lack of content....yes its EA, but then open it up to modding…

Hello, I just wanted to take a moment to send a message of appreciation. The game is genuinely very good, and it clearly shows the amount of work, passion, and talent behind it. What has already been built is solid and well done, and it deserves recognition. Please don’t let negativity, haters, or harsh comments distract you from the bigger picture. Every ambitious project attracts noise, but quality always speaks louder in the long run. What is already there proves that you are on the right…

It evokes the same feeling that the original Assetto Corsa early-access launch did and that's the greatest compliment I could give it. You launch the game and it instantly feels intuitive and natural to drive. Any other racing games, both circuit and rally based, have their own quirks that you need to adjust to. Not the original AC and not AC: Rally. It looks absolutely beautiful and it runs really well (despite of the horrible performance most UE5 titles display). Running it on an RTX…
