neutral · AI labelView post →April X ⭐️⭐️ "The neo noir aspect of this movie is very 1940's, wandering around in alleys with an inner monologue decorating all the brooding. The movie wants to compel with its introspection and mystery, but it seems disinterested in both the world it created and its story."

neutral · AI labelView post →You could draw a comically clear line between the people who were at the screening for one reason and those who came for another. And the latter crowd missed the whole point of the movie. But it was a full house so at least the movie benefits from the attention. Same with April X honestly.

neutral · AI labelView post →I've contacted a total of four theaters about the movie April X. 2/4 (AMC and Regal) are an hour away with traffic. Cinemark isn't showing it but might change, and the AMC closest to me told me I have to wait until this week to check. They should have just made it available to rent online.
