Despite famous ending, romance is not AOAAG's greatest attribute. Richard Gere's charisma, rawness, & character arc define film's success. And supporting cast excels. #filmsky 📽

But formula is executed to perfection in this crowd-pleasing romance. Winger & Gere hating one another is just icing on cake. 6 Oscar noms. Louis Gossett, Jr. win. #filmsky 📽

A narcissist watches the same film and wants to be the Sergeant – shouting, causing fear, and controlling everyone. Anyone who prefers control over love is a toxic danger to be avoided.
